Just did the drive thru at A/W on 8th street saskatoon. The only reason I gave them a 1 star rating is because I could not go lower. We ordered 2 Apple Turnovers, that's it, then we paid and were told it would be 2 minutes for fresh ones could we please move forward! About 5 minutes went by, no big deal, before our turnovers were brought out to us. As the employee handed the bag to me I thought to myself, for freshly made turnovers this bag feels cold, I should have gone with my first thought and returned the turnovers. It took me 10 minutes to drive from A/W on 8th to my doorstep, another 10 minutes to get settled and open my freshly made, now 20 minute old turnover. The disappointment we felt is hard to put into words the best I can do is this, the 2 turnovers that were supposed to be freshly made just minutes ago were the kind of deep frying you get when you deep fry with a microwave, I am hoping that they were at least today's turnovers but I'm not even sure of that! So basically the reason for the 1 star across the board is because, I was lied to about the 2 minutes and getting fresh turnovers plus they really tasted bad. Why is the service and the food taking such a downward turn in...

They were charging me 40 cents for a piece of lettuce. She said if you add any vegetable that is the charge . Which is fine but I was leaving a vegetable off so could it just be substituted? The answer was no even though they weren't giving me a 40 cent credit for taking a vegetable off. The supervisor even came out from the back . I just asked couldn't a piece of lettuce be put on instead of pickles. She said no . I myself would have just substituted. I worked in a QSR for many years and would have just done it. I don't understand why these places can't make a decision outside of the box. Especially if it is a common sense request. ...

I could see through the window where they slide the food out how the sandwich was made and the person preparing it was no wearing gloves and was pretty much touching all components of the food bare handed. I saw this man touch his face and his ears, then go back to food prep without hand hygiene. I also saw this person touch the coffee machine and other things. Very gross and unsanitary. There needs to be better standards....
