Omg smelled so good walking in. Loved the rustic industrial feel to the place. 😍 the bathroom sink is sparkly. I thought it was cool. Very friendly staff. Great to see a local business. Menu prices were average to a somewhat high on the mains. Had the Sweet stuffed chicken surprise thigh, had a nice heat to it. Was chicken thigh, bacon, cheese, pickle and carrot. I enjoyed it. I was disappointed with the broccoli it was pitiful. One wholeindividual flowerette and two that were cut in half so actually was one flowerette. Vegetable should be eldante but don't know what with these but it was like chewing plastic. That was why only 4 stars. They did offer a few things I have not seen before or often. Like the smoked lamb,. Smoked rice dish as a few examples

Went to Wednesday's Smokey BBQ in Saskatoon last night for the first (but not the last) time. Initial reaction was a little bit of a surprise as we were the only table at 5:30 on a Friday and first glance we felt the pricing was higher than we usually spend. HOWEVER, once we saw and tasted our food it was all good. In fact it was great! Portions were pretty good and the meats were awesome. House dipping sauce was a little bland but the meat was so tasty I hardly noticed. Service was friendly and prompt. Several Skip the Dishes orders went out while we were there but we dined in peace as no other diners came in. Definitely a repeat is in order.

Me and theblady love this place, Honestly the only place to eat here great burnt ends and brisket you can't go wrong ordering from here pricer than other places in mall by a little but not much and we'll worth every penny and the lady's that run the cash register have been nothing but a joy to deal with needless to say we will be back this is our 2nd time eating here this week.... it's Tuesday 😀

We arrived at 1230 expecting the restauraunt to be full, to our surprise there was only two other tables full. Service was fast and very friendly! Our waitress Lacey made us feel very welcomed, she was very helpful and kind. I ordered the Angus burger / soup as a side (beef vegetable). The Angus burger was delicious, the fresh vegetables were so good, I just wish I has a bit more bbq/bold flavour on my Angus patty itself, I do like my meat well done so I will ask specifically for this next time. The beef vegetable soup was to die for, such a fresh delicious soup! The beef in the soup hit home for me. My boyfriend ordered the burnt ends sandwich with fries, he had no complaints at all, he would buy it again ×100. Crisp, charred and delicious! I personally loved the bun the sandwich came on, it suits the sandwich so well. Overall a great first time experience at Wednesday's Smokey BBQ. We will be back again to enjoy...

Went for lunch. They were out of pulled pork and pork belly, so it was a bad start. I ordered the beef ribs with mashed potatoes. The ribs had pretty good taste, and I enjoyed the broccoli which had been grilled. The mashed potatoes were unusual - possibly made from flakes (?) - and were not hot. The ribs were only warmish, and the gravy was thick as though it had not been heated through. My friend had the beef nachos. The beef was dry (almost dried, I would say), and the cheese had not melted. Perhaps the chef was in a rush to get things out to the table. The service was good, though there were only two other people in the restaurant so that’s not saying a lot. When my lunch partner expressed disappointment with his meal, they offered to make something else. He declined, but they ended up giving him a sandwich to go. Perhaps they are so new that they are still working out the kinks, but I have no plans to return...

Traveling from Ontario and a charcoal griller and smoker myself and having my homemade ribs on a biweekly basis in summer, also attending various rib festivals in Ontario through the states all the way to Florida and usually if I find myself in a place in my travels Swiss Chalet is a go to spot for me and kids but we tried Wednesday’s Smokey Bbq through skip the dishes app and we’re amazingly surprised that other than my own of course that the best ribs we’ve ever had would be in little old Saskatoon Saskatchewan. These ribs and the smoked wings are at a top competitive world class grade and will be a stopping point from now on whenever we are in town. The fixings were good too but the smoke, sauce and just barely on the bone ribs were perfection best...
