Truly disappointed as we decided to try this place for the first time. First off the wait time to order took about 45mins and had to walk up to order. We ordered 2 chicken samosas and the meat pie which we got first. The samosas were frozen in the middle and tasteless. The meat pie was alright. For our main meal I got the coconut fried rice with jerk chicken and the chicken was overcooked and tasteless. The rice really had no flavour. My boyfriend got the coconut fried rice with the stewed beef and it was so overcooked/tough and was tasteless as well. The only good thing was the meat pie that we got.. Everything seemed to be microwaved. There were also dirty dishes that remained on a table the entire time we were there. We were the only people in the restaurant at the time. Really unfortunate as we always love to try new places and this place had a lot of good reviews. Will not be...

Went with some friends. They barely had anything on the menu. The young lady was nice but she had no clue on how to serve. I knew it was going to be bad when I seen the cook heating up food with three microwaves going hard. My friend ordered the jerk chicken with fried chicken and he got one thigh with a chicken leg quarter for his fried chicken and his charge was like $22.00. When you pay 22$ for chicken and rice you would expect to get at lease a half of chicken ($10 will get you a whole chicken at Walmart and Safeway). I ordered the stewed beef thinking if the meat was stewed then it would be tender…nope. The beef was tough. It was not worth the money they charge for food. I’m all about supporting the people, but you must take care of the people who...

I was looking forward to trying out the food from here. I ordered from them yesterday and got the shrimp coconut rice with beef stew and a side of plantains. The coconut rice was extremely delicious. However, the beef stew was disappointing. It was rock hard so I was unable to eat it. The flavour had potential if only the beef was softer. I’ve never ordered from this restaurant before so I’m unsure of their normal portion size. The beef stew that came with my combo, was the size of my thumb. I got exactly 2 thumb size pieces of the beef, which I wasn’t able to eat because of how truly hard it was to chew. The plantains were just okay and considering the price I paid for this, I don’t think it was really worth it. The rice was...

Ordered some food for takeout from them and was sadly disappointed. The veggie coconut rice was bland, the reviews for its counterpart with meat were good so I hoped that the vegetarian version would hold the same, but it didn’t. I ordered a side of steamed veggies with it (because it was the only side option that didn’t cost an additional charge) and was surprised with the frozen veggie mix you buy at the grocery store heated up with some butter. The samosas were tiny and for costing nearly $6 I was expecting them much larger. The samosas tasted nice but they were wrapped with wonton paper, something I’ve really never seen before. Overall it was a fairly sad dining experience for something I was really excited to try

This food was not good and maybe that's because of the long time it took to deliver. Even reheated it was not good. I ordered Ogbono soup and pounds it was very gross. The meat was tough the soup was bland and off tasting. The pinda was alright but it was just pounded yam. I also ordered samosa and they were too greasy and needed more spice. I ordered coconut rice and jerk chicken. The only edible thing was the rice. The jerk chicken was dry and lacking seasoning. And lastly I got fried plantain which were not good by the time it got delivered. I will not be eating here again even the flavours were not good I cant imagine it would improve much in the restaurant.
