Absolutely terrible!! I hadn’t been here in well over a year (maybe 2) and I definitely remember why. Skip delivery was slow and cold. Not entirely restaurants fault, but they use a paper bag and put a cold milk drink next to these Yam fries that I paid over $10 for. The fries are packaged completely stupid. Small portion of fries, stuffed into an open paper bag with a milk drink laying on top of them. I’m absolutely impressed that the milk drink didn’t somehow explode and spill, being that it was laying sideways in the bag on top of fries. At least they invest in good cups!! (Not in good chicken). Obviously the expensive fries were just a cold blob by the time I got it. But hey, the drink next to them was still super cold!!

The chicken is an absolute rip off. Super greasy, all slimy dark meat. I order a 12 piece meal, which is apparently ALL drumsticks (which is unheard of anywhere else), so I pay an EXTRA $8.00 just to still have 8/12 as drumsticks!! Still sure I got ZERO white meat with this. What kind of garbage is that?? How much more would I possibly need to spend to actually get white meat with my order??

Don’t waste your money on this place at all. Go to Mary Browns, which is ridiculously better or even just go to CO-OP and get their chicken, which is way better. You’ll get much better cuts of meat and it will cost you...

Firstly, I would like to begin with this. The chicken had blown me away when I first tried their Korean BBQ chicken sandwich. And the fries that came as a side have the perfect crunch and texture. I have tried the majority of the menu and I have to say I never found any faults at all. Secondly, I would like to address the, "poor" reviews I have read thus far. If you're ordering online DO NOT expect your chicken to be nice and crispy, in the carrier bags they use to carry food they are insulated, so over a period of time the heat causes a lot of moisture which will cause that soggy effect. So don't be surprised when your food doesn't necessarily seem fresh if you order it. Thirdly, I believe a lot of the style sauces they use are unique and peculiar, meaning they don't allow for the chicken to remain crispy because that's not the design. So if you don't like the effect of the sauces don't get it, just try it without. Anyhow, I'm done with the review and I hope it helps some of you and clears some things up. This is one of my Top 5's in Saskatoon and I highly recommend it, as well as their...

I'll start off by saying this is normally one of my favorite food spots in all of Saskatoon. The last time I had Hey! It was subpar and not up to the usual standard of food they give us for takeout, I figured it was an off night so I tried again today! This time I was majorly disappointed. They were running behind on orders so our pick up took a little longer than normal, no problem. The chicken today was so over fried and dry some pieces were almost to dry to be edible, their normally delicious crisp fries were incredibly soggy and some undercooked, the fried rice (normally my favorite dish) was one big pile of overcooked mush. Normally it comes with sausage, but in it's place came with soggy, undercooked large pieces of bacon, very unappealing. The saving grace was the mini chicken tenders, they were good. Overall very underwhelmed and disappointed with this $70 meal for my family. I have been put off from trying again for a while, but I sure hope Hey! Can get back to the quality I loved and these are just off days for...

Hey! Fried Chiken is probably the best fried chicken place in Saskatoon. They have a variety of flavors to offer for their chicken if plain old regular fried chicken doesn't do it for you anymore. Our favorite is the Golden Kari (Japanese curry powder), Garlic Soy (Japanese Soy with minced garlic) and The Pa-Dak (sweet mustard with green onion). We also ordered the Snowy Cheese, but we felt the cheese sauce didn't do it for us and was pretty bland. We had Kimchi Rice on the side and my kids said it was aight. A bit too sour for my taste, but understandable since it is kimchi-based. I'm glad they have an option to just have all of the parts as drumsticks. Dark meat is the best if you want fried chicken. Wish they offered it in all thighs as well. Love the pizza box style boxes they offer for takeout. They split them into sections inside so the chicken varieties don't mix. If you want good fried chicken, just say Hey! Fried Chiken.

Very delicious, please! Hot and fresh wings, patient service (it was my first time there), and a pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely come back! I had the Hey OG, Korean BBQ, and the Golden Kari. All three were very good. I got the original for a baseline for their wing capabilities and I was not disappointed..! Very crisp coating but juicy meat beneath. The other two were very delicious, the Golden Kari being unique to me for wings. That good curry taste gave me goosebumps. It’ll be hard not to order any of those three again next tome since I want to try all of what they have to offer. I meant to order the pickled radish, but I forgot.. Want some good fried chicken? Definitely come here, thanks!
