Came here with friends who highly recommended the pizza and dry ribs. The menu also touts their well known status for said ribs. We ordered an XL pizza with the rib platter combo that came with Cesar salad, cheese toast and the dry ribs.

The ribs- they are okay, however I found a lot more bone and grit to meat ratio. Seasoning is nice but it overall wasn’t a flavour to write home about. I don’t often order and compare dry rib locations so I suppose this may be a part of it. The Cesar salad - excellent. Creamy rich dressing with fresh romaine. Cheese toast- it came with one slice so our friend had that- he loved it. It looked like Texas toast with no cheese on it but he did claim he tasted it.

The pizza- of course with anything each place makes their own ‘za and you go for what you crave depending on your mood. This was my partner and I’s first time trying this style. We had the Kisavos special pizza without mushrooms. The outer edge crust was nice and crispy slightly burnt edge with I loved. The cheese on top was very crispy too- also a bonus for me. It’s a deeper dish crust, so thicker. However the bottom got soggy as it sat which took me away from being pulled to the centre pieces. Thickness. It was thick- but not in the way I prefer. There was lots of pepperoni and meat layers, which made the slices softer. I loved the amount of pineapple that was present. The sauce was on the sweeter side which wasn’t my favourite- I like more tangy acidic marinara styled.

Overall the food was decent, I would try more of their classic items next time. This wouldn’t be somewhere I’d crave pizza as our friends do.

They have an extensive drink menu. VLTs in the lounge. Limited parking- we had to opt for street parking as a result. Also be cautious in winter as the sidewalk is quite slippery and icy.

Staff was friendly and attentive. They seemed busy though so some of our requests took a bit of patience. The food came at a lengthier pace.

The outside seems run down and the sign as well. However inside it’s very nicely decorated and felt more upscale than the impression I had while pre browsing the menu and seeing the exterior.

I’d return if a friend wanted to- otherwise I’d be more apt to try...

I saw this review on a friends fb page, I thought I would post it on google reviews. I truly believe automatically adding a tip to the bill is ridiculous. That gives the server the opportunity to offer bad service, still receiving a very lucrative tip.

Took my kids for supper at Kisavos in Saskatoon we were seated promptly, It was not overly busy , there was 6 of us , was told when going to pay that because there was 6 of us it was an automatic 18 % gratuity ( i would have appreciated to be informed this before being seated) !!! OK, well, we were not offered refills on waters or drinks through the whole meal. We only saw our server when she brought out our food and then again when we were done ! I was a server myself for many year's, I always tip something regardles, but to be charged an automatic gratuity for not even receiving the offer of 1 refill is ridiculous !!! I'm not crying over pop, I myself only drink water but even that wasn't offered to refilled , then to be forced to give a 33 dollar tip 🤦‍♀️won't be back sorry Kisavos I like to tip as a reflection of service 😫 ( Yes I will call and voice my concerns to management Monday as well as leaving...

While the food was quite good, the service was terrible. We had a 6:00 reservation for 6 people and at 8:00 still did not have our meals. When we complained, we did not receive an apology but were instead blamed! First, because our party arrived at different times (we were all seated by 6:05 - only because one couple was initially seated at the wrong table) then were told it was late because it took so long for us to order - we ordered at the first opportunity we had - it just happened to take half an hour for the server to come by to take our order. When our food finally arrived, we were blamed once again for ordering the ribs - because they take a full hour to cook. (If this is in fact true, perhaps make note of this on your menu - I've never waited this long for ribs at any other establishment.) And it still didn't justify the 2 hour wait to receive our meals. A simple apology and not blaming us for their errors would have gone a long way in our opinion of this...

Our server was extremely friendly and service was excellent. It’s the kitchen that had problems on this visit. Food was fine, but my pop drink had about 7-8 fruit flies in it! Didn’t notice from usual dinner conversation until I had almost completed my drink. The server was just as shocked as I was and came back to say that they had a fruit fly problem in the kitchen (I think it was the ice) and that they were going to eliminate the situation. Of course they comp’ed me for my beverage, but weren’t willing to remedy it anymore than that. I know times are challenging right now, but any restaurant establishment better ensure there’s no infestation in the food and drink they’re serving (hope the fruit flies weren’t in my food too) if they expect return business. I will not be returning to Kisavos again and taking my business elsewhere. All it takes is one bad experience (especially when not handled to the customer’s satisfaction) to end any further patronage at any business.

Ordered a large Imperial pizza and a Greek salad for delivery however they told me the delivery company was running behind and it would be easier to pick up, no problem. Very friendly service. The staff noticed I was limping and offered to take my order to my vehicle for me, which I declined. I got home and opened the salad, I was so disappointed. The Greek salad is basically all lettuce with a few chunks of tomatoes, onion and cucumbers then totally smothered in dressing with feta on top, with exactly 4 olives. There was so much dressing it was running out the sides of the paper takeout container when I got home. I tried, but I couldn’t eat the salad The pizza was ok. Burned a little on the outside as they now use marble? cheese and super soggy for the rest of it, when I removed the first piece you can see how wet the paper is on the bottom of the box. The flavour was just ok. Certainly not worth the $56 it all cost. I used to love this place and now I doubt I’ll ever go back.
