An amazing experience top to bottom. Great service, we were given lots of reccomendations and even served special treats in addition to what we ordered. Our server went above and beyond, we felt well taken care of and special! The atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing, with fun lighting and Persian music. This is a great place to have good conversation and unwind. The food was incredible, every dish had so much flavour and paired very well together! (Great to share and try lots of things together). 100% will be back again, a must try for Saskatoon. Pictured is the Kashk bademjan (eggplant dip), which was rich and garlicky. We also had the Koobideh (beef) kabobs, Kartoffel (potato) salad, and Khoresh ghormeh (lamb stew) - every dish was absolutely incredible. Their saffron tea is wonderful as well. Definitely try this place out!

We dined there; the service was a bit slow, yet the decor was pleasing, reminiscent of a Chinese restaurant. The Koobideh kabab was enjoyable with a well-proportioned serving. However, the Joojeh required more seasoning, and while the Mahicheh was well-cooked, it had a slightly fatty odor. Overall, it was good and definitely worth a try. The Shallot yogurt and doogh were standout items, exceptionally fresh and expertly prepared. They offered us saffron tea and a plate of Tahdig for free which was so surprising, and we liked it. A minor suggestion would be to take orders separately at first and inquire whether customers prefer their receipts individually or together. I will absolutely go there again and will post the updated review later. Thanks to the management for bringing this Persian cuisine to this city.

Foods are very delicious a Iranian restaurant with delicious food, sefron tea and baghlava sweets

"A Delightful Dining Experience!"

I recently had the pleasure of dining at saffron Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable culinary experience! The restaurant has a warm and inviting ambiance that makes you feel at home. The service was exceptional; the staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu offerings.

The appetizers were a great start to our meal we tried the iranian saffron tea , which were both flavorful and perfectly presented. For the main course, we enjoyed Kebab beef ,Disi, lamb shank, and Yogurt drink which were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious.

The Saffron tea is impressive, with options to suit every taste. We chose Saffron tea , and it was a delightful accompaniment to our meal. To finish our dining experience, we indulged in baghlava sweets which were the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal.

Saffron Restaurant offers a memorable dining experience with exceptional food, tea, and desserts. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top-notch culinary experience and...

Extremely unhappy with this restaurant. Ordered on Uber Eats scheduled for delivery 7 hours later. My order was accepted. 6 pm I received a message that 1 item was not available ( despite me ordering this 6 hours before and the order was accepted). Shouldn't the item have been kept for an order already accepted? As per the Help chat bot on Uber Eats I called the restaurant to add a replacement item. Was told it was not possible. I had no option to edit my order on Uber Eats. The restaurant said they couldn't add a replacement. I had a loop like conversation from the restaurant that they couldn't help. I then canceled my order, only to be told by Uber Eats that my charges would not be refunded. I was not informed by the restaurant that if I canceled I would still be charged!I am not happy with the restaurant . Ironically in the past I had a good experience for eating in. Needless to say, I will not patronize this restaurant again. I would have kept the whole order if I was allowed to add it to it.Very poor customer service. Zero accountability. The meal I ordered was to be shared with guests who...

After visiting over 30 Persian restaurants across the country, I initially left Saffron Persian Kitchen wanting more. During that first visit, I found the tenderloin kebab underwhelming—tough, chewy, and lacking seasoning, especially for the price point.

However, over the past several weeks while in Saskatoon for business, I’ve had the chance to return multiple times, and I can confidently say this restaurant has become a standout. The stews in particular—especially the Khoresh Ghormeh Sabzi and the lamb shank—have been absolutely superb. Rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, they reflect the depth and authenticity of Persian cuisine at its best.

While my experience with the tenderloin kebab was not ideal, the overall quality and consistency of the dishes I’ve enjoyed since have more than earned my respect. Saffron Persian Kitchen is now, without hesitation, one of the finest Persian restaurants I’ve...
