Buckle in. Our experience at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. There were roughly 14 of us that made a reservation and went to this place for a birthday. We sat down and our lovely waitress came up to us and got us our drink orders. About 20 minutes later we got our drinks and they were good. It just went downhill from there. And I want to preface this with we loved our server and she was really trying to help us out as much as possible. So we ordered our food and thought nothing of it. It was all smooth and again we loved our waitress. Then 30 minutes rolled around and we were still waiting but that’s to be expected. It was a pretty busy Thursday supper time rush so totally understandable. Our server was running around doing the lords work. Not all of us got waters but again not a big deal. Then an hour rolled around. We were still getting drinks, however a lot of our beers were wrong. Server was still so helpful. Then it was an hour and 15 minutes after we ordered and the server came by and said that they didn’t have the ribs that three of us ordered. So we had to reorder new meals. Anyway we had a concert to get to and it was now 2 hours after we ordered our food. Still nothing. We told the server that we wanted to pay and get them to go. She was so apologetic and nearly started crying because she felt so bad. The manager then came by and apologized and gave us a gift card. We then just started leaving and picking up the food. As we picked up the food they were STILL MISSING 3 ORDERS. Ridiculous. We then got more gift cards after we asked for a refund on the meals that we didn’t get. Overall terrible. Oh yah and the food was cold. I mean literally no temperature. I want to make it known that we loved our server so much but she was needing help and nothing was given. Her section was packed. The kitchen needs a rework and managers need to help more. Never want to come here again. Again our server was great but everything...
Read moreFood not nearly as nice as it used to be - appies were not good (cauliflower bites and mozzarella sticks only tasted like hot sauce), salmon poke bowl was not good. Pizza was delicious according to my family. Cocktail “You had me at rose” I couldn’t drink - only tasted like ginger beer (one ingredient) which masked everything else - no hint of rose whatsoever. Ambiance and decor very nice but we sat on deck and the windows were open (no screens) so flies were really bad. The biggest disappointment was that I gave my daughter ONE small sip of my cocktail as she had forgotten her ID and wanted to just have a taste of it. At which point a manager (I assume) flew over to our table and said, sternly and threateningly, “that what you did right there is illegal , and if I see you doing it again I will take your drink away”. (I didn’t drink it anyway lol) He seemed very angry and as a 55 year old getting reprimanded publicly, I will never set foot in that establishment again. It’s not what he said (I totally understand not serving someone without ID), but the attitude of anger and scolding he had, that disturbed me so much. Server seemed annoyed and was not very friendly. They did give my other daughter a free dessert for her birthday, but the experience had already been ruined for me. Price of meal was around $165 for 4 meals and 3 alcoholic beverages. Food: 1/5 | Service: 1/5 | ...
Read moreUpdate: My cousin and I just had another excellent meal. Same server, Nicole! We had the same meal as before. Nicole was super-busy as the patio was slammed. She did very well and the food was perfect. I got the shrimp with less salt … score! Original post: I just had the greatest meal at Liberty Kitchen … my first visit there. Nicole is a first-rate server. 1 pm is a great time to go if you want a quiet meal. The Zero Proof lemonade was excellent. I would highly recommend the tomato pesto soup which comes with a lovely garlic toast (more like a crostini). I liked the toast so much I ordered more with my main course, the crispy shrimp appetizer. My only criticism was that the shrimp were too salty for my taste. Don’t go by me because I use very little salt. I’m told by Nicole that you can order it with less salt so I’ll order it again, it was sooo good. All in all a very enjoyable meal. I’m not surprised to hear it is owned by Brown’s Social House, another...
