OPA! of Greece Stonegate Center — Restaurant in Saskatoon

Easily the worst opa experience I've ever had. My bowl was 95% overcooked rice and my partners salad was full of soggy lettuce that was drenched in sauce and terrible calamari. When we asked about a refund for just their meal, they pushed having new food made, but since it was the same ingredients, we declined. The workers spoke between themselves in their language, which normally doesn't bother me, but is very rude when you're obviously discussing us. They also told us that they couldn't give us a refund because the "meal was finished" when there was well over half of it left. They then switched gears and said they couldn't give a refund because they'd have to call their boss. As a fast food worker myself, I couldn't imagine being so unwilling to make a simple phone call to at least try to make up for a terrible experience one of my customers is telling me they had. Tried OPA in all different location but this one is exceptional! Not just a good service but gave us a great experience. They didn’t charge us for any extra like extra sauce, extra onion or lemon cause some does.Staff are really friendly and they serve fast, it was really busy when we were there. It was the owner who serve us and we can see how he treat his people really nice. Place is clean and sanitized, that time there’s only two available table to dine in, to have a social distancing.

Never order takeout! They cheap out on fries and salad and give you shoe leather in place of Beef on your skewer. I have now changed to 4 stars because the owner reached out, apologized, affirmed they would follow up with staff, and offered to promo a meal. My son and I highly recommend the Gyro Pita Wrap and Fries with extra Tzatiki sauce in the side...yummy!!! My cousin and daughter prefer the Chicken Pita Wrap.
