If you’re looking for the perfect spot to catch the game, enjoy great food, and experience top-notch service, look no further than Tapps. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and seated quickly despite how busy it was—always a good sign!

The atmosphere here is fantastic—plenty of big screens, great sound, and the energy that only a passionate crowd can bring. Whether you’re into football, hockey, or just about any sport, there’s always something playing that will catch your interest.

Now, let’s talk about the food. The menu offers a fantastic variety, from classic wings and burgers to some unique options you wouldn’t expect at a sports bar. The wings were crispy and packed with flavor, and the nachos were loaded with all the good stuff. I also tried their Chicken Club Burger, and it was cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and with the right amount of toppings. Definitely not your average bar food; you can tell they put effort into the quality.

But what really sets Tapps apart is the service. When my Fiancé and I were sat, we were served by Vanessa. Her people skills and friendly demeanour created such a great experience. Overall, the staff is attentive and friendly, always checking in to make sure your drink is full and you’re enjoying yourself, without being intrusive. It’s clear they take pride in making sure customers have a great experience. Even on a busy game night, the service didn’t skip a beat.

We’ve been here twice in the last couple months. The food here is pretty good. Portion sizes are what you’d expect and food was hot.

Service, however, is not good. It seems the staff are not provided with adequate training on basic things a server should know. Our first experience we had a server who we saw once to order our food and then once long after we were done eating. The place was not busy so she had no reason not to check on us. We watched as she stood beside the bar for most of the time we were eating. No chance to order another drink or let her know how our food was.

We decided to give the place another chance so we went again with a couple friends the other night. It was also not busy. Our server was clearly very new and inexperienced and very nervous so we were patient with her. However, she also stood beside the bar for most of the time we were eating, and even though we needed ketchup and wanted to comment on a food item, she did not come back to check on us until we were all nearly done eating.

The bartender wasn’t busy, he had 1 customer sitting at the bar, but for nearly the entire hour and a half we were in there, he had his head down and was texting on his phone.

We are hesitant to go back solely because of the service we received there. The food and atmosphere were both good, but not worth it for how terrible...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tapps, and I have to say, the experience was exceptional! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. One employee in particular, Rudy, truly stood out and made my visit even more enjoyable.

Rudy, provided top-notch service. He was attentive without being overbearing, checked in just the right amount of times, and made sure we had everything we needed. Their friendly attitude made the atmosphere even more enjoyable, and they really took the time to ensure our group was happy with our food and drinks.
