T&Q VietMeal Restaurant — Restaurant in Saskatoon

The only thing about this restaurant deserving of the 2 stars is the food. Otherwise it would be 0/5 for me. Customer service here is atrocious. The one who goes by T is completely rude and has no customer service skills whatsoever. Don't blame your customers for your inability to properly build your Skipthedishes menu. Also, not sure how chow mein noodle is more expensive than rice noodle. It is one of the cheapest noodles around. Currently still waiting on the food to arrive since suddenly after the request for chow mein noodle, they require significantly more time to prepare the food some how. I will edit this review if the food comes and it is below standard. This is not a great way to keep customers coming back. Probably won't order again unless dealing with Quinn. T used to spend most of her time in kitchen, obviously for a reason. She should probably stay out of the customer facing aspect of the restaurant if they want customers to come back.

-edit- Dropped review to 1/5. Food was disappointing today. Flavourless. Also to add in regards to cost of noodles. One dish, which is same size as my sizzler, has the small chow mein noodle option for $1. The sizzler only offered rice ($1) and rice noodle ($2) for small size. I selected the $2 rice noodle and put a note and then called the restaurant to request the chow mein noodle instead. Well, the lady on the phone screeched that apparently chow mein is more expensive (it's not) and said she had to call Skip to adjust but then said in the end "I'll do it this one time only." Well guess what, there won't be a next time. If you don't like Skip orders, don't be on Skip. It is an optional platform. There are better and cheaper places to order from...

It was the WORST FOOD EVER!!!! Hubby was supposed to get hot and sour soup!! We have been getting it for many, many years (20) from ANOTHER restaurant but he did not want to drive to that side of the city!! It would have taken 10 mins!! Hubby wanted to go local!! Instead we got this HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE FOOD that was incredibly salty to the point my feet are swollen!! This guy talked him into "THEIR" SOUP which was ATROCIOUS!! We also got deep fried shrimp and they were completely dry and hard, not like from back in the day when it had that beautiful batter on it!! I contacted the guy (Lee) and told him how horrible it was and he's talking over me and blaming my husband and how he should have asked for the Chinese version and he named others as well!! I told him where we have been getting the soup from for yrs and he said "they come here to eat"!! He was rattling off, wasn't listening and "nobody's ever complained before, blah blah"!! The bottom line is he WASN'T GOING to REPLACE the FOOD!!! "Oh next time, I'll give you one and a half servings"!! There will NOT be ANOTHER TIME!! SAVE YOURSELF, your MONEY and your TASTE BUDS!!!! T@Q this place is my jam! I order here twice a week! I love the special jumbo noodle bowl. The beef and shrimp fresh rolls! But My absolute favourite food on the menu is the SPICY BEEf and PORK NOODLE SOUP with flat rice noodle!!!! It’s amazing!!! I order this soup for takeout and eat the whole thing on my patio in stonebridge! I always thought white lotus, or Asian hut, or spicy garden had best pho! but no no no, this place knows what’s up!
