Really disappointed in response to mistakes made. I understand mistakes happen and I am prepared to give grace and wasily forgive mistakes when there is an apology or responsibility taken however when mistakes get made and no ownership is taken or hoping I won't notice it makes me mad, it insults my intelligence amd shows me I'm of little to no value as a returning customer.
My order was later than it was supposed to be for pick up, no acknowledgment of that or apology for it. Got home and was missing half the chicken we ordered. Called back and they knew right away what order I was because they knew they messed it up after I left. I live 30 minutes north of Saskatoon, they had my phone number, why didn't they call me? The first thing they wanted to know was if I could drive back and pick it up, not an apology or even a oops. I said I'm not doing an hour round trip to come back. I tried getting in touch with my wife before she left the city but couldn't connect. Went in next day, gave us the missed chicken and nothing more, again, no mention of an apology or acknowledgement of any wrong doing on their part. All this to say there was never any indication to us that we were valued or wanted back. I spent over $100 and always do, have a large family to feed. Won't be back ill find another restaurant that wants my money on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am wroting this review as I just finished eating my meal in my car as the obviously uninterested staff (that initially ignored us as we stood right at the counter for a solid 5 minutes) couldnāt be bothered to wipe a single table off for us to be able to sit down and dine in. Instead we had to awkwardly ask the girl who took our order (smaller East Indian female) if someone could clean a table for us, she just pointed to the black female (unfortunately didnāt get the name) who was on the floor on the closed side of the restaurant sweeping the floor and said āmaybe you can ask her to clean you a tableā. Stunned at the response, I looked at my friend and turned around, walked over to the female that was cleaning the floor and politely asked her if she could clean us a table on the open side of the restaurant as all of them were dirty. She simply said that we could go sit down instead. I replied that we intended to once we got our food but that all the tables were dirty. To which she responded āI dunno maybe you can ask her to clean it upā pointing to the initial girl we had asked who took our order. Also should mention that the restaurant was empty. This was the worst attempt at a dining in experience Iāve ever...
Ā Ā Ā Read morethe chicken was fresh, juicy and crispy! The two sides ordered were macaroni and cheese and the other was coleslaw however both of these items came in containers that were only 3/4 full! When I call to ask about this they apologized for the macaroni and cheese and wanted me to come back for some more, say what!? And the coleslaw excuse was, as it sits it sinks over time, say what!? These excuses are just that excuses (that they want me t believe)! (IF POPEYES WANTS US TO HAVE smaller servings then get A SMALLER CONTAINER! YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR YEARS, RIPPING PEOPLE OFF) Why don't you just give me what I paid for?? No need to apologize just give me what I PAID FOR!!
For all of you people out there that are reading this and you end up getting only a partially filled container, ask them for them to FILL it up! It is yours, YOU PAID for it.
ANALOGY ---giving them $5 asking for change and they give you $4 back.
I have always found the staff at the circle drive location polite. ALWAYS 8th Street...
