Ordered delivery as this place had good reviews. Food was cold on arrival and tasted old. The meats had no sauce on them and were very dry. The sauces were in separate styrofoam containers which had disintegrated and leaked all over the bags. The deep fried wontons were not traditional deep fried wontons, which are customarily like a chip which you can scoop up sauce and rice with, these ones resembled deep fried tortellini and looked like the wontons from soup, filled with pork. They were hard as a rock and tasted old. The spring rolls were stale, the chicken and vegetables with cashews had a flavorless sauce that was incredibly glue like in texture, like runny snot. The chicken balls were flavorless, I gave one to our dog who wouldn’t even eat it. For spending $68 I am disappointed. Nobody could eat any of it and I only received a 50% refund from skip. I had the 9oz grandpa burger. Not exactly traditional Mennonite fare, but it was a homemade patty served with all the trimmings and a generous portion of bacon. Flavourwise, it ranks as one of the best burgers I've ever eaten in a restaurant.

I had a slice of apple pie with icecream for dessert, which Pearl (one of the owners) assured me had been made fresh that day (not that I'd have minded if it hadn't been). The crust was perfect—light and flaky, with just the right amount of buttery goodness, and the filling reminded me of the apple pie my grandmother used to make.

The only crticism I have is that the presentation is a bit sloppy, which is a shame, because the food is delicious. My entire meal cost roughly $15, which great value.

Went there because friends raved about the eggeolls. I found it bland and nothing spectacular. Tried wonton soup second time and it was ok. Third time was fish and chips and the fish was store bought. Fourth time friends poutine was cold and they put it in the microwave to heat it up. My granddaughter ordered the hot hamburger and the bun came on the side. Vegetables were cold. Every time they didn't come around with coffee or check if we needed anything else for a long time.
