Miss Tea Time Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Sault Ste. Marie

I've been waiting years for a bubble tea shop to come to the Soo. I'm an avid bubble tea drinker so I was excited to try it. I'm up for a visit from Southern Ontario and decide to drop in yesterday. It's a beautiful shop, 10/10 for atmosphere. It was fairly busy, which was fine. I ordered my two drinks and because it was pretty busy, I decided to go back into my car to wait with my husband and son. A little while goes by, I go back into the shop, my drinks were not ready which is fine. I saw the people who ordered before me still waiting along with others. So I go to the bathroom. I come back out and continue to wait, which I don't mind. As more time goes by I see the people who ordered before me are now getting their drinks. Then I see one of my drinks being made. It just sat there. I'm still waiting for my 2nd drink patiently. Then I noticed the gentleman behind the register go to take a new order. I continue to wait, which is fine because I see the other women behind the counter working away. More time has gone by and I see her holding up two drinks and it was for the 2 people behind me. I was beyond upset at this point because I was so patient. I went up to the women behind the counter and told her, my drink has been sitting there for a long time now and those 2 costumers ordered after me and both my drinks have not even been made. I was upset but was still respectful. I told her honestly, it's been over 15-20mins at this point, I just wanted a refund. My 2nd drink hasn't even been made. She told me she is the manager and she can't provide refunds. She would have to call the store owner. At this point, I'm just so disappointed in the service I've just given up. I told them fine, just continue and make the 2nd drink. They finally do. When I drank my Brown sugar milk tea it was so watered down, that was the first drink they made and had it sitting there. I've had my share of bubble tea in my days especially coming from Southern Ontario. I've never seen anyone give you so little tapioca. I wished I took a picture. For the price that you pay, comparable to some of the most well known shops in Ontario. This was definitely not worth the money. I would say Freshly Squeeze would be a better option. This shop needs work on customer service and management needs...

This is usually my go-to place for boba. But recently, whenever i order, it has been absolutely disgusting. One time, there was some odd unmixed thick cream at the top which tasted disgusting. Another time, they put salt instead of sugar. I took a sip, and felt like puking. The third time, the drink was overloaded with sugar, I could barely drink it, and I felt sick. I’m constantly wasting $13 at a time on these drinks just for them to taste bad. I’m very disappointed and will not be...

Quaint yet modern. I ordered a medium Teatime Pearl Milk Tea with soy milk (yay! There’s plant-based options.) You can choose your ice and sweetness level as well as which tea you want. They prepare it after you order & pay. It was smaller than I expected, but tasty. There are many options to choose from, and even sausages in a roller oven thing.
