Wendy's — Restaurant in Sault Ste. Marie

One of the best locations for a fast food restaurant sadly the quality doesn't live up compared to others in the category.

The burgers are extremely greasy, dense, preformed patties that are more then not overcooked or stale. The consistency of pressed cardboard. Either the wrapping or something put on the bun leaves an odd metallic taste on the food which is concerning. The only redeeming quality is the fries.

The facility is often not cleaned even during slow times and their condement station is a refab with odd holes in it. Not quite sure what the story is there but it was better a year or so ago.

With other options on great northern road for not a whole lot more give...

My son got off work at 9 pm and was hungry so he requested Wendy's. We went in as the drive thru was lined up. We were the only 2 waiting in line at the counter. We waited literally 10 minutes with various workers would occasionally glance at us. 3 girls cleaning the fry tray, one girl working the drive thru, another girl stocking supplies, there was a guy making food and organizing the orders and I believe there was one or 2 floating around in the back. It was aweful and finally we had enough and left and walked over to McDonald's. Brutal, I will never ever go to that location again. Where was a supervisor on shift? Kids want money but certainly dont want to...

I absolutely love the staff ☺️ and how kind and polite they are, they could be having a bad day and still Smile ☺️. I understand that you have to be asked for condiments like salt pepper ketchup, I love Wendy's I was just thinking maybe you could possibly put a sign saying if needing any condiments like salt pepper ketchup please ask through window that way it doesn't make the people working left to deal with Angry non understanding customers meaning they don't know that your not to give certain things unless asked for. Keep up Great...
