My recent experience at this location was quite disappointing compared to other branches. While the staff was undoubtedly welcoming, I believe there should be more care taken to maintain professional and ethical standards, especially in front of customers.
I understand that running out of certain ingredients—such as red onions—is not a major issue. However, using leftover scraps and attempting to stretch them by breaking one piece into ten to create the illusion of quantity is unacceptable. I even offered to wait for a fresh supply and clearly stated there was no rush. Despite this, the staff member returned from the back and continued using the same leftover pieces for my order. I had to stop him again and request that he not use such substandard ingredients in my food.
Furthermore, I was surprised to find that the payment tap system was not functioning, and there was no signage informing customers of this issue until the final stage of checkout. As I was not carrying a physical card, it became an embarrassing situation where I had to return to my car and search for an alternative payment method. By the time I was able to return, my pizza was nearly cold.
In short, this visit was a waste of both time and money. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and implements better operational standards...
Read moreMy review is based off the pizza we had as we ordered online for pick up and had very little interaction with the staff. It was ready when we showed up so we were able to walk up to the counter, grab our wheels and head back out. Happy to report the pizza did not disappoint.
I made my own pizza, similar to the carnivore with the hot maple glaze, and the misses got the four cheese with a balsamic glaze. First bite of the cheese pizza was surprising as most cheese pizzas are bland. This one was bursting with flavor, Cheese was cooked perfectly, the glaze and crust added to the taste really making this pizza stand out from others we have had.
When I dug into mine, all I thought was wow, excellent job Blaze. The Italian sausage is spiced nicely, Ham was cubed and the peperoni was perfectly crisp, add the sauce with its own sweet flavor on top of the perfectly cooked crust, they all mingled really well and didn't leave us wishing we ate somewhere else.
I do see lots of recent reviews in the negatives for this place but we do plan on ordering from here again...
Read moreI was disappointed the last few times we went. The reason I went with 4 rating is because the last few visits, the staff are being stingy with the toppings. I don't like overloaded pizzas, which is why we always go to Blaze. This last time, I couldn't get over how little of all the toppings the guy started out putting on my pizza. I only get 2 types of cheese, mozzarella and feta, then chicken, olives, onions, and spinach. Even each time I watched him put on very little of each food, I would say, "Could you please add more", he added a few pieces of each. Even the cheese wasn't much on the top, I wouldn't complain normally about places I love going to, but I felt deeply insulted because the other worker who was looking after other customers added the right amount to the pizzas she was working on. In the end, my pizza still had fewer toppings than the ones she put together. I don't like heavily loaded pizzas or fat crusted pizzas. Blaze, for me, was perfect. When I go back, I hope it doesn't happen again. This place had 5 stars prior to me coming in...
