Mac 'N' Cheese Daddy — Restaurant in Sherwood Park

I really don't like leaving bad reviews because I understand that we're all human and things happen. However, my experience with them matches that of others and it sounds like a repeated problem. I ordered through UberEats and was given a 30-55 minute expected delivery. I didn't get it until 2 hours after the expected delivery time (waited for about 3 hours). I've tried calling 4 times and I did not receive an answer any of those times. Additionally, I wasn't notified that my delivery eventually arrived by the means I was told to expect (a phone call or knock) and I only found out by continously checking. By the time I got the food, it was cold and dry. All of this was highly unprofessional and disappointing The reviews sound like the restaurant is good in person, but I would recommend not ordering food from them if you're getting...

Food is great! I've had similar experiences with food being late from either Uber or Skip but last time it happened we got someone else's order, the Manager called us after we got it credited back from Skip. My wife explained it to him and that we were content with the refund, he told us it was a mixup on their end and he would really appreciate us accepting the new order and to use it the following day for lunch or something. Thought that was a very responsible response.

I can appreciate no one is happy with getting their meal mixed up, especially when they're hungry and waiting. That being said, after reviewing some of the reviews I think we need to remember the people preparing food are human too and prone to mistakes just like the rest of us.

Tried this through Skip the Dishes and delivery was later than estimated. Food was cold and the perogies that came with one dish were cold and gummy. Asked for a refund and told them they could pick up the food to show that it’s not edible. Offered me 50% back. Nope - it’s not edible and Skip ended the conversation after I asked for a Manager.

Thought they were a new restaurant as I’ve never heard of them. I googled them and saw that I live less than 3 minutes away from them. Have never seen the restaurant and I would have driven there as so close and saved myself all the fees. How could my food be cold within a 3 minute drive?
