I ordered nalysnyky with chicken and mushrooms for lunch, to go. Was I enjoying this meal? Honestly, I ate it because for the price it cost, I felt I had to. Would I order it again or recommend it to someone? No. The nalysnyk had no flavor at all — the filling was barely noticeable under so many layers of crepe, hiding the real taste that a nalysnyk should have. I took quite a while deciding what to order. I was about to choose the ones with cottage cheese, but I thought that would be more of a dessert, and I wasn’t in the mood for anything sweet, so I went for the chicken version — but the taste was basically bland and (what I really didn’t get) I noticed sweet notes, as if sugar had been added to the filling.

If I remember correctly, I once saw another review where someone complained the food here didn’t taste Ukrainian. I’m not trying to throw the whole place under the bus, since my opinion is based only on this one order — I had never ordered from this bakery before. But come on… putting sugar or anything sweet in a chicken and mushroom filling? That’s definitely not Ukrainian. By the way, the sour cream really did taste sour (old).

In short — I don’t recommend this dish, it’s not worth it. I hope to change my mind with other dishes from this place, since they’re all over Instagram and have many positive reviews (hopefully not from people who work there, as that’s a pretty common practice). Sorry, I can’t give more stars — I feel...

Malina is a wonderful cafe in Sherwood Park. The location is very welcoming and inviting and the staff are very friendly. The gentleman working today was very friendly and serviced us promptly.

The coffee here at Malina is incredible. The americano I had was one of the best I have ever enjoyed. The flavour of the coffee came through and was not at all bitter or acidic. The food was also incredible. There are a lot of delicious options to choose from and you cannot go wrong.

As a car guy the added upside is the view into Sherwood Customs/Sherwood Motorcars. Super neat location.

I look forward to returning and trying more of the coffee and food options. I think this may be my new favourite cafe in...

I’m not gonna lie, the food doesn’t taste as good as it looks. I tried a bunch of things. I got their buy 6 for 28 deal and it was all so bad. The pastries are so dense and thick, and the baked goods were so hard, like as if they were stale. I dono maybe I had a bad bunch but it really was a waste of money. Not even one baked good I tried was remotely good. I also got a few cakes and they were soooo dense and thick as well. Was not very enjoyable to eat anything from here.

There are better bakeries. But if you’re into dense baked goods then maybe this is for you. I can’t say I’ll go back. There’s way...

Stumbled upon this place when searching for a coffee. What a great find! It is built and leads into a car dealership with classic and high end sports cars. Treat to walk through after getting a good coffee with some awesome food. It is not a gigantic place, but plenty of room to be cozy with several tables. Wonderful selection of pastries. Choose anyone of them and you cant go wrong. Service was friendly, informative and prompt. Super clean establishment with good atmosphere. Ended up just chatting with other patrons for a good hour. Come here and enjoy!
