Excellent! Coffee , food, people, location, setup, everything. It's almost setup like a permanent food truck, open air with the seating on a sidewalk plaza (including a piano under an umbrella).
Got their version of a mocha which was very nice and a delicious cacao cookie as a reward after my crater lake hike (also recommended). Many of their baked items are gluten free.
Maybe you came to Smithers because, like me, you slept at the glacier view rest area about 10km from town and awoke to find a sign directing you there or maybe you planned to come here and enjoy the quaint Swiss/Dutch ambiance.
