Steak House On Main — Restaurant in Smithers

Been going here every Sunday brunch for many years and I have always received quality food, good service, and most of all a warm friendly experience from not only staff but owners too. Today I had a special request. Myself and client really enjoyed a dish called panzit that Amy provided his quests with as a specialty dish on his 95 birthday. We all so enjoyed it. I thought if she had time at some point no rush it would be nice for him to be able to have a take out order for home. At 95 not a lot left to enjoy but food is one thing most of us can say is one of life's pleasure's. Well guess what she made made it happen a full tray of panzit which again is not on the menu for him to take home.. Thank you !!! I ordered a rare '10oz Sirloin Canadian Steak', accompanied by 'Homemade Lasagna', for the exemplary price of $39.68.

The dish was undesirable at first glance but upon inspection... it was simply disappointing. Reeking with “La Grille Montreal” Steak Spice, the cut was mostly gristle and what wasn't... was tougher than a Witch's **.

I was rooting for the lasagna but it's unseasoned noodles, store bought marinara and overwhelming amount of condensation, left my stomach empty and garbage bin full.

I'd recommend going to the local Grocers: 2x Steaks (Free Range/Organic) Fresh packs of Rosemary, Thyme, Garlic and Salted Butter and cooking at home, for...

I’m giving this one star because that’s the lowest choice. I ordered chicken quesadillas and my husband got a grilled chicken burger. Although I found my food quite tasty, I barely made it back to my hotel before things began spewing from both ends. It was food poisoning. My husband was fine so it was obviously the quesadilla. I had to miss a day of work because I live in Prince George and was unable to drive home on the scheduled day. I was sick all the next day. What foods would I recommend?
