The Sausage Factory — Restaurant in Smithers

Went there today and we came from Terrace. Some of the stuff is 4 times more expensive than up here. Than some of the lunchen meat is at a god price and fresh. Of course the special meat like bison, and other wild meat is expensive but where else are you going rhe get it so we bought quite a bit. (All good there) But what I did not like was that they think they are special because the do all this different meat so they can just take there time like they where in a union and let people just wait while they talk to themself's and have people take there asweet old time cutting 400 gr of lunchen meat and take 5 minutes..Really. I kniw the place is for sale, so I would think they would make a good...

Very disappointing customer service this afternoon. There was a gentleman passing out flyers for “freezer packs.” When I asked the young girl behind the counter for the pack I selected, she was visibly confused. She got Marissa who informed us that she was too busy to accommodate us as they were short staffed and the staff that was there needed their breaks. I wouldn’t have even known about the packs had there not been someone handing out flyers in the store. When I was told to come back late in the afternoon or another day, I explained that I was from out of town and would not be coming back today. After this experience , I likely won’t...

Not a custom butcher AT ALL. I provided fabrication instructions for a cow. They said " that's way beyond what we do" I just wanted custom cutting, boneless rib steak, skirt steaks, tri-tip, short ribs, etc. The most they said they would do is take the bone out of the rib steaks…..Gee thanx guys. What a useless company. If you don't pick from their SUPER generic cuts, they don't want to cut for you.
