Having lived in Japan, I tried many of the dishes shown in my photos which I ate this evening. Masa, the owner was absolutely kind and a real pleasure to speak Japanese with this evening. He definitely adds his own flair and original mouth watering flavours to each of his dishes.

He cooks with his heart and soul, explained clearly as the beautiful presentation of each dish is placed before you. As he prepares each plate with care, the years of experience he has in the kitchen becomes apparent. Each item is picture perfect, and enjoyable to taste.

I was delighted to have this creativity placed in front of me after I had asked for some recommended menu items, it made this meal and experience something I will not forget!

If you want to experience real Japanese cuisine, there is no doubt you can find it at Masa Yama.

I decided to give myself a treat and take me to have sushi. Returning from my visit I decided to go there again.

Right as I entered the build was a really awkward greeting. I have no idea why the waitress made it that way. The place was quite. She forget to ask for drinks and when asking what she recommended on the menu, her response was weak. The floor is also very creaky and when people walk pass you it’s like an earthquake! Being there twice I had two totally different experience.

The food is very good. I really enjoy their sashimi, paired up with a warm bowl of miso soup.

Pretty much the same as others say...my weirdness shall compare the outside to the photo with windowless van that's says free candy but really it's super creepy and probably paedophiles inside...but imagine instead of being filled with creepers there is actually delicious free candy as far as the eye can See and it is amazing...so even though the exterior is a creepy van trust me go inside and have the food it's amazing...it's one of the best sushi restaurants I've been too within...
