Absolutely Fantastic!!
Taste: 10/10 Service: 8/10 Cleanliness: 10/10 Quality of food: 10/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Portion Size: 7/10
Overall experience: Definitely a come back!
Pricing is reasonable, unfortunately their menu items are not listed on the website, when I called and spoke with one of the staff he informed me it may be because the menu changes monthly (great attitude on the phone as well, the staff never fails to be friendly!)
Roadhouse offers daily Lunch and Dinner specials; Lunch Sandwich from $10 Soup cup or bowl from $5 Dinner Entree / Pasta from $16 Prices are very reasonable, and again the taste is amazing! I was so satisfied after leaving at lunchtime, I had an absolutely mouth watering chicken burger and mushroom soup side.
**See photo for following description of each item I am not a fan of breaded or battered meals, however, this chicken sandwich served here was amazing and absolutely unbelievable as far as taste goes, I was pleasantly surprised when I took my first bite! My mind has been officially changed when it comes to breaded chicken The sauce served on the side, when added gives your tongue a dream experience A definite must try! Wow factor 100!
The mushroom soup is something I have never tasted before as well, the originality of ingredients and flavours is second to none here! Absolutely delicious!
Finally, I am a coffee fan and this is the first time I have had a cup of coffee like I had here, wonderful!
Every item was more than enjoyable, served beautifully and undeniably fresh ingredients, served at perfect temperature.
Roadhouse is categorically one of my favorite restaurants hands down! If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would!
Be sure to dine in the next time you visit...
Read moreWhen I leave San Francisco I live to find, and expect to rarely encounter, a wayside place which provides respite from daily activity. A welcoming place that appeals and satisfies my senses. One of these rarest gems is in downtown Smithers.
Sisters Moe and Michel have curated and deliver an experience that deeply satisfies in an ambiance that relaxes, with service executed with aplomb, and a wholesome menu and bar that nourish.
The modern, large yet inviting environment is interestingly eclectic without being distracting: Sitting there feels, well, welcoming. A stuffed owl, carved Indonesian doors, themed bathrooms, English candelabras and Moe’s photography of people and food encourage you to snuggle up with one of an evolving collection of excellent cocktails (thanks Jason!), rum, whiskey, wine or beer.
RoadHouse’s coziness comes with crisp, attentive service that appears effortless but exists only when servers, cooks and owners enjoy working with each other. Their banter shows this is clearly the case.
The food is consistently excellent with the exception of their pulled pork poutine: That bowl of deliciousness is sublime. Assuage your hunger with comfort (poutine, chowder and bacon bites), healthy (great salads and fresh ingredients), food that is dressed up (duck confit) or down (street tacos and Korean barbecue). Each delivered satisfaction.
I would be embarrassed to admit how many days in a row I ate dinner there, if I didn’t relish the memory of every morsel and sip. My experiences there now define my expectations for warmth, service and food that satiates when I look for my next...

I knew what I was going to get before I even went there (thank you online menu)
they managed to screw up my order twice. their hash browns were what I expected (which I was hoping I could sub for Fruit but alas no fruit...)
I couldn't try the salad that came with one of my meals because it had seeds.. (yes I had two different meals)
Can't get a regular drip coffee have to get an 'americano or variant'
server was friendly and nice & the decor was nice..but for what I paid.. I could have broken out the camp stove and did it myself properly...
was kind of hoping I could/would go there for breakfasts on the weekends since the other 'options' aren't really good options either.
My 'soft' eggs Benny we're hard I mentioned to the waitersss she got me a new set of eggs but she mistook what I said for how I wanted my eyes and the second set came back even harder than the original set.. needless to say left two eggs and a salad and a plateful of hashbrowns.
My suggestion to them would be:
