Tandoori Bistro — Restaurant in Smithers

We were there yesterday, and I have to say that food is awesome, hands down! However, you guys should teach your front desk or server to learn customer service skills. He was taking order, and we were asking questions as four of us were had different background and this was the first time of everyone trying to taste the food. The guy, said in distress that “I don’t understand what you are saying”. I mean he should have patience.

Even though we were made aware that they would be closing the restaurant at 8.00pm, we were complying with that. Later, he reminded by coming to the desk that we are closing in 5 mins, that’s alright, we were almost leaving. Then he brought a vacuum cleaner and started vacuuming where we were dinning, I mean doesn’t he even have Food Safe?? throwing all the dust there on the food.

He might had a bad day, but it doesn’t mean that you treat everyone the same way. We asked for couple of things, he didn’t bring it then we had to ask him again, now who do you don’t understand???

First time in Smithers, first time at Tandoori, not recommending anyone for the cheap customer service we received. We still gave you the tip, but i guess that can be used for the continuing professional development so that he can learn some language and customer...

I really rarely run this way normally but exceptionally got a load to deliver to Kitimat so went thru Smithers and seen this place, should call this a gem as the food is amazing! The only downfall is I ordered take out, few meals too, as I love Indian food taste and they rarely disappoint plus I needed lunch & dinner for the run so how handy!! Tried for the first time the Chicken Chilli Dry or some like that... God is that ever tasty!

The only thing I have to say is YUMMY!

But... mostly all mains I ordered(Butter Chicken, Chicken Curry) were supposed to come with rice and I had none... it's okay I had some Uncle Ben's to get me going but... should have been there. Only bad thing I will say about this place cause I'll come again if I ever come...

I ordered dine and take out food . I was waiting for my take out food . No one in the restaurant heard voice from Kitchene “ ine vehle aa lok roz khan aa jande aa” the guy working in the kitchen used abusive language in punjabi which was totally inappropriate. I asked the waiter , I understand what he said . Waiter said he can call the cook and you can talk to him . Waiter Went inside to talk to him but cook never came outside . I did not feel to bring food with me . That’s how this place treated me . Waiter said you can take your money back . It’s not about the money . Cook used inappropriate abusive language .I understand if the restaurant is busy but only...
