Just ordered for first time , probably won’t order again , “chicken fried rice” was awful no taste not even fried, it was pale and nothing like any chicken fried rice I’ve ever had anywhere else, extremely disappointing. Do not order the rice please save your money and cook white rice at home and add a sprinkle of chicken that’s basically the taste you’ll get if you order their “chicken fried rice” gross and barely any chicken I don’t know why it was so expensive when there was no flavour and not a lot of food !!!!! The chicken balls were average nothing special , overall just ok … mushroom chop suey was a lot of bean sprouts and sauce…, spent a lot of money..ordered many dishes and waited over an hour and am very disappointed and won’t order from here again. Please please change your chicken fried rice it’s honestly the worst I’ve ever had and I’ve been all across Canada and never had such bland food. And please don’t tell me your food is healthier that’s why it’s different with less spices and taste because when people want to splurge $$$ and choose to eat Chinese food I think we have for one nights dinner thrown out the calorie counter because that’s the night we are deciding to indulge and hoping for some crispy tasty flavourful food outside of our normal routines :) very nice staff but...

I've been eating here for about 30 years now. Since they opened on Beckwith St. It is by far the best Chinese food anywhere. It's fresh and delicious, with loads of veggies that are always perfectly done. The chicken balls are mostly huge chunks of beautiful white chicken and not just empty dough balls. Nothing is overly salted. The other night I got 9 egg rolls, Chicken fried rice, Beef and broccoli, Almond guy ding, Lemon chicken soo guy, Sweet and sour chicken balls and Chicken chow mein. All of this cost only $100 after tax. It was for 4 people. When we were done eating it looked as though the food was untouched. Leftovers for days (which I love)! I recommend this place to everyone. We ordered the combo plate “b”. The rice was surprisingly tasty but was not your typical chicken fried rice cooked with soya sauce. It was white with some spices ( don’t know what ) but was good. The egg rolls were mostly flavourless with very little filling. The chicken balls were just OK. It appeared that they both were microwaved because they were not crispy at all. Finally, the ribs, once again not what we were expecting - the sauce was not typical and they appeared to be just boiled with spices. I couldn’t get past the appearance so I tried one but quit. My wife will try to make them more tasty and appealing later. Overall, not worth the money, this was our one and only time trying...
