took Ken for breakfast at "Perfect thyming" restaurant in Smiths falls on Friday. It was such a horrible experience. The waitress, not the black haired awesome one, was having a bad day (clearly) and the restaurant was busy but I was in no hurry, so whatever. We had to request coffee several times, so when I wanted peanut butter I got up, took two packets of peanut and returned to my table. So she shows up at my table and says "I saw you steal that peanut butter, you get one peanut butter and the second one we charge for". I was shocked, "I said I took a one peanut butter for myself and one for my husband, charge me if you need too but that seems ridiculous". For whatever reason she comes back and says "I am sorry, sorry very sorry, but clearly does not mean it, and I ask her to please walk away, I was not in a position where I could get up and leave, but her accusation had made me angry. She goes away and comes back with our bill and she WHINES, IN MY FACE, "sweetie, sweetie I can see I upset you sweetie, I said told my boss I upset you, I said sorry" She was so antagonizing and mean, it was awful...I was not given a discount on breakfast nor was my situation handled reasonably at all...spend locally? Never in a situation like...
Read moreI had an interesting experience at this restaurant on Sunday for Mother's Day breakfast. First of all, I'll never understand an establishment that requires yoga pants as a dress code, unless it's a gym or yoga studio. It's definitely weird to see at a family restaurant. One of the waitresses' bra strap kept falling down and she'd pull it back up while walking by with a plate of food. Just feels unsanitary. I ordered breakfast which included a scrambled egg but what I got was not a scrambled egg. I'm not even sure what it was but it was unedible and it was all in one piece attached together. My friend said they probably use powdered eggs or something. After we got our food not one person came by to check on us throughout the whole entire meal. We ran out of coffee so my friend went to the kitchen and poured us some. We had to flag down someone who looked like the manager in order to get our bill so that we could pay and leave. We explained to her about the food and the lack of service and they did comp our meal which I appreciate but why would they run an establishment like that to begin with? And why would they serve food that is unedible if they want their customers to come back? The home...
Read moreService was quick, but the food arrived cold, and pretty sure the bacon was the precooked kind you buy in a box at the grocery store that takes 10 seconds in the microwave.
Reply to owner: LoL wow, I hit a nerve, didn't I?! You should be happy I commented positively on the quick service and gave you 2 stars (now it's 1) instead of writing more comments about how unpleasant the food you served us was, but instead you became defensive and showed that you are not concerned about customer satisfaction. If that is bacon which you have personally prepared, you should be ashamed. I have no idea what you did to make it so paper thin and tasteless, but talk about bad food. The rest of the plate was cold upon arrival; and I have no idea who these people are you speak of who continue to read the paper or scroll on their phones after the food has arrived, what an odd suggestion that your customers are so rude and thoughtless, you obviously think very highly of your customer base. Thanks for your angry, defensive reply instead of an apology or an invitation to come back to try your food again to...
