I think the hardest part of going to Carl's jr. is that they seem scared to provide the very value for dollar they promise in their combos. You just about have to beg for ketchup, and napkins, are used as a currency. The food is a solid not bad to pretty good, but the fact that this locations employees have been told to nickel and dime you into buying the combo and getting nothing else is sad. It's why I don't go there more. The experience feels like the staff is determined to make money from me with as little effort as possible. Burgers lack condiments, toppings are very low level produce. It's money saving and yes, it comes out in the customer journey. I go in optimistic, I come out semi ok.
The owner told the staff to skip items that have a cost, like ketchup or a lousy napkin, a straw. Like seriously, c'mon man. It cost me 30 bucks to get a value meal delivered. Can I have a ketchup packet please? It's ridiculous. A napkin and a pack of ketchup are priced into it. So you are shorting me these items to save pennies on the dollar.
It's an ugly look. It's cheap. Sad. So, I eat here once every 6 months instead of twice a week. Your concept kills any reason to come back. That's an ownership problem. The employees don't care if I get 3 ketchups with my 22...
Read moreI was just at this location to try them out for the first time today Feb, 22, 2020 at noon .. I ordered a Super Bacon Big Angus regular combo #8 to go.. I had asked for onion rings as well and they tell me they don’t have any so I had to get fries.. my order was ready in about 2 minutes because of that I wondered if I was given something that was already pre made.. It was given to me in a bag to go, when I got home I discovered that the fries were only half full in the and that my burger only had 3 slices of bacon on it and that was not what was shown on their their picture menu board.. The picture shows that there is a lot of bacon on this burger and in my case it was not.. It was also very clear that my order wasn’t made fresh cause my entire order was cold, bun and fries were soggy, I also found the staff to be rude, rushed and very messy.. I am disappointed and I won’t...
Read moreMy family has recently discovered Carl’s Jr, and it’s our new favourite. With growing eaters in our family, the meals are actually substantial enough to fill my teens and pre-teens tummies. They use lots of lettuce for my lettuce wrapped burger, which is really nice. Staff are always super positive and polite, including a wonderfully helpful Suhkander on our last visit.
I tried them out because I had some coupons that made it affordable to get a combo, but they currently also have two different combos for only $7.99 each, and the family deal is an even better deal (four combos for $28), plus an ongoing deal of getting a free famous star burger for free when you buy a $25 gift card. It’s pretty amazing to feed five people for $30. Even my picky eater loves it. I’m really happy to have this new family favourite with such affordable options....
