I visit this location often since it opened. Was nice having a new location so close to home. However, I have been continuously disappointed with this location over and over. Most times their food has been mediocre and quite often burnt. I almost always have to pull ahead to the next window and wait 5-10 minutes for something as simple as a Bagel BLT and ice coffee. Their baked pies rarely have best before stickers on them and every time so far has been dried out and clearly old. Every time I have ordered an ice cream cone I receive a cone with less then a fingers width of ice cream above where the cone begins. It’s even worse with their chocolate waffle cones which are barely filled enough to be level with the top of the cone itself. The staff has been hit or miss as well, with some coming off extremely rude, and others friendly and helpful. But It’s been made clear to me by now that this locations owner is cheap and cuts corners. Avoid it if you can. The Millwoods and the Ellerslie and 91st location are much better.
Update 07/15/19: O wish I could give them another 1 star rating. Once again they show they can’t do anything right. Ordered an Egg BLT Bagel in drive thru. Had to pull to a parking stall for it along with 4 other vehicles sitting parked waiting for food. Drivethru was not busy, and not a soul in the store. Finally get my bagel. Get on to 50th and start driving. Open it up and it has no egg on it. So I drive back. Go into the store where I proceed to stand there for several minutes with workers glancing at me but quite obviously ignoring my presence. I finally speak up. They take it and agree to make a new one (I would’ve been fine with them just throwing an egg on mine). 5 mins later I finally get my bagel. Go out to the car, and start driving away. Open it, and not only is the bagel burnt, but they forgot the mayo on this one. At this point I no longer have time to go back, so forced down the dried out bagel. Read moreEvery single time I go to this location there is something wrong. On the very first day they were open I ordered 5 breakfast sandwiches and they only gave me 4. I thought being their first day that I wouldn't have to check the order but obviously I was wrong. Next time i went I ordered their new seasoned fries. When I got them home and opened them up it was basically just a glob of seasoning salt dumped on top. They didn't even attempt to evenly coat them. Then today I went and ordered 3 meals for myself, my husband and my daughter. After i paid they told me to go wait in the reserved parking spot. A minute or 2 later another car pulled up in the spot next to mine and a minute after that someone came out and gave that car food. Then a couple mins later a guy came out carrying some food and asked what I had ordered. I told him and he walked away and then came back out a couple mins later with the same food and asked me again what I had ordered. I told him again and then a few minutes later another employee came out and asked me again and tried to give me the order that didn't even belong to me. They then told me that they gave my order to the wrong vehicle and that they would remake mine but tried to leave me with the kids happymeal that they had been carrying around for the past 10 mins. Read more(I wish, I could give no STARS at all to this location) My nieces and I went to McDonald's today in the evening and we got the worst service ever by the MANAGER. Her name is MANCHANDANDEEP KAUR. She works at 5205 Ellerslie Rd SW, Edmonton, AB T6X 1X2. We asked for a breakfast deal and she told us in a very unprofessional manner that they don’t serve breakfast in the evening. We asked her if she could change the sandwich or bread with something else. She totally refused to do anything. She didn’t give us any other options or anything. Instead of solving the problem, she completely ignored us and started taking orders from other customers. It seemed like she was misusing her position by showing us her attitude. Other customers were witnessing the incident too. I would like to say here that those kinds of people do not deserve managerial positions. A manager has to know how to handle the situation and how to provide good customer service so that his/her employees can learn those qualities from them. A manager like MANCHANDANDEEP KAUR can not bring more business. I think, she should go to school and learn the qualities of a good manager before working at your restaurant. I am not sure if you guys will do anything about it or not but this can be very important for a business to check how their employees...
