vegan options need improvement, fries were great, but the flower power burger was no better than a random frozen veg patty and i wouldn't get it again, i would imagine it's extremely hard for people to switch to a vegan diet when the vegan options in this town are so limited. I'd love to see some proper home made soy based patties or even offering beyond or impossible burgers if something closer in resemblance to meat inst able to be produced in house, would be great to see at least 2 vegan burger options

6:55 Call to order 2 vegan special for pickup 1 with everything 1 no onion sub sriracha aoili for regular vegan aoili
told to pick up 10-15 mins, hang up 6:56 (should be ready 7:06-7:11)
Get called 7:07 saying they only have 1 burger, i am told they will sub one for another burger, i said i needed to check with other person who was collecting the order as i only wanted the special and did not want another burger
call back 7:10 and tell them i want the burger with no onion made the same as the vegan special but sub flower power patty as they dont have the other patty
person on phone seemed confused if i was asking for flower power or the vegan special, i explained the exact order i made originally but sub the patty for flower power patty on the one with no onion.
was told 10-15 mins
the person who was picking the order up was already there waiting in car at 7:11 and wasnt going to wait another 10-15 minutes.
really wierd service and odd that i specifically asked if they had 2 available and they said yes then called me and said only...
Read moreI had an ok memory from a year ago when burgers were okayish, so I went there again for convenience as it was nearby. Unfortunately, flavour-wise, things have changed. These were the most tasteless burgers I've ever had. The bun (GF) smelled and tasted like cardboard, both my bf and I had to just put the bun aside and try to eat the burger without it to avoid the terrible taste from the bun.
The meat had no seasoning at all, luckily it tasted a tinny bit of the charcoal from the grill. That said eating a beef patty without any seasoning is just disappointing. The tomato slice was probably from a frozen tomato because it also lacked flavour, the cheddar slice almost nonexistent. The bacon was way overcooked. I even tried to add tons of ketchup to my burger to add some flavour but it was pointless. I had to leave part of my burger and leave there to go buy food somewhere else.
I never thought that it would be possible to make a burger disappointing but Flipside proved that it's possible. I will never go back there or recommend that place as a dining alternative.
However, the place is good for hanging out when the sun is out, they have some nice ciders and the Friday afterword atmosphere is quite nice and enjoyable. Go for the drinks and the hangout. Maybe try out other items in the menu but not...
Read moreI really wanted to love the place I mean, really
So it's a food truck parked at a brewery So if you want to sit down an eat there, you will have to get something from the brewery Which is ok I don't mind getting a cold one
Just think it could be nice if it's showing somewhere in particular if you are not Local
We had a couple of beers which were good! We ordered the hot mess and the classic cheeseburger And some Mac and cheese bites
I'll start with the good My wife really enjoyed her burger I was not so impressed the only thing I tasted was the pickle, which I think was good
But as far as the burger overall not so much I had the hot mess I was not impressed at all very disappointed the patty was dry it was drenched with Sriracha I get it it's in the name but it was overwhelming I don't mind the heat at all but it overtook all the flavor which was lacking the patty was well done dry still had some "juice" so I'm guessing the patty meat was good The meat to bun ratio was off Bun is huge, patty is thin and tiny compared to the bun Curly fries were ok, same as the ones you get in the frozen section. Mac and cheese bits were ok, nothing special
Its was just lacking the love, soulless food. I'm really sorry but it is what it is
I just think the place is overhyped not sure how it...
