Timberwolf Restaurant & Lounge — Restaurant in Squamish

Went there with my husband after a long day at work to have a good time. There was just one other table and us. I asked if it was possible to customize the protein in one of our meals which the server checked with the chef and agreed to it. When I pointed at the Souvlaki dinner, she said she was going to charge me with a different thing on the menu apparently the most expensive one and then put $7 of protein upgrade on that rather than giving me what we actually asked for. When I pointed it out she called me and my husband "Hilarious" out of nowhere and told us to speed up and order. She said and I quote, "I haven't got all day for you guys, I have a million other things to do" which says a lot about someone working on a minimum pay job, I mean what was she doing serving at the first place if she has already got million other things which obviously does not include serving her customers well. We couldn't take it anymore so we asked her to cancel our appetizer order and get us the bill for our drinks. To which she stormed away and came back with a machine and threw it on the table for us to pay. NEVER HAD SUCH EXPERIENCE. Idk if she was having some personal issues with her life which was reflecting on her profession or was just being pure racist towards us. The chef himself came in and tried to fix things for us (which was very nice of him) but it was too late and we did not wanted to be served by her so we left. All I am trying to do through this review is to warn you guys to not go there if you guys are big on customer service as the person like her should not be near the restaurant let alone be the face of the it. It was our first time there bcoz we really wanted to give local a try. Unfortunately it did not go as expected thanks to the server. Never going back. Cannot review the food bcoz we did not even get a chance to try it and for the service I wish there was something less than one star, unfortunately thats...

For breakfast - Food was good. Service was both very good and very, very bad. All of the "real" servers were hustling and doing a great job. But - some man came out of kitchen with a soiled white cooks' uniform and attempted to find us a table. He ushered us to a table and then sent us back in line to wait. Then he cleared a table for six to seat just me and my wife. A real server spoke with the cook/server that seated us and told him not to seat anyone more because they do not have enough staff to service any more people. When another real server came to serve us, I offered to go to smaller table because I could see there were a couple of large group waiting in line. The server was grateful and sat us at a quiet table for two. We noticed that the cook/server was continuing to hustle and seat people. We asked our server if she could tell the cook/server to stay in the kitchen and let the staff do their job. Apparently he was not a cook/server. He was a co-owner/manager/cook/server. Our breakfast took close to 40 minutes to get to our table. But it was hot and it was good. We left our "real" server with a generous tip for expectational tolerance of the work situation. I dearly hope that the staff will walk out and find a less toxic work environment - because that is where we'll be eating breakfast...

I had to give it one star in order to post this but really it is -5 🌟..... We waited 1.5 hours for our food. 45 minutes for drinks and to boot the dining room was closed so they only had to serve our party of 30.... I ordered crab cakes as a starter they smelt and tasted like 7 day old fish could not even eat them but you bet still had to pay for them. We had 14 boys with us made reservation for 6:30 as we walked in with only 5 of the 14 boys in attendance they served all the pre ordered pizzas. Meanwhile as I mentioned above all of us parents did not recieve our food for 1.5 hours. I had ribs and lasagna these can not really be messed up but on a scale of 1 to 10 I give them a 4. My wife had chicken florintine it was repulsive there presentation looked like the meals were boild in bags like freeze dried hiking meals and dumped on our plates. Oh before I forget if you like croutons there garlic bread is like a giant crouton so if your a fan order extra. Never ever returning to this embarrassing...
