If you're a fan of poké, then you absolutely must check out Steve's in Squamish. From the moment you step inside, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the friendly and knowledgeable staff will make you feel right at home. Zali, in particular, is an exceptional host who really knows her stuff when it comes to fish and poké culture. Whether you're a seasoned poké aficionado or a newcomer to the scene, she'll be able to guide you through the menu and help you choose the perfect dish to suit your taste buds. One thing that really stands out about this restaurant is the quality of the ingredients. The fish is always fresh and delicious, and there are a variety of toppings and sauces to choose from that really take the flavor to the next level. Whether you prefer your poké spicy or sweet, savory or tangy, there's something here for everyone. And if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences, the staff is more than happy to accommodate. They're always willing to make adjustments to the menu to ensure that everyone can enjoy their meal to the fullest. Overall, I can't recommend this poké restaurant enough. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and Zali is an amazing host who really goes above and beyond to make sure that her customers are happy and satisfied. So if you're looking for a great poké experience, be sure to check it out!

Friendly staff and delicious, fresh poké bowls in Squamish! Our server was so nice, my husband ordered the “shoyu a good time” tuna poké and she went to the back to get a fresh batch of tuna given the tuna stock at the front was running low. You can also BYOB - build your own bowl that comes in two sizes, mini or regular. I got a mini size salmon bowl with half quinoa and rice. Premium toppings such as tobiko are at an extra charge. The bowl was filled with edamame, corn, seaweed flakes, pickled radish and ginger. Not only was it jam packed with healthy ingredients, it tasted so good with their ponzu and shoyu sauces. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick and nice healthy meal.

Steve's Poke is amazing. The food was fresh, super yummy, and sooo esthetically pleasing. A colorful bowl full of goodnesss. Just sooo many options. The owner Brandon was amazing and soo personable. Besides the food he was a joy to converse with. He is proud of the product and service delivered and you can sense it the minute you walk through the door. We ate there two days in a row!!! We had to since we were headed back to New York City.Definitely a must try in Squamish!!!!!

Our experience at Steve's poke bar was absolutely delightful, thanks in large part to our wonderful waitress Zali. Not only was she knowledgeable about poke and its history, but she also had a true gift for serving people. Zali was particularly well-versed in the origins of poke, and she shared fascinating tidbits about the dish's evolution from its humble beginnings to its current global popularity.

Throughout our meal, Zali was attentive and gracious, ensuring that we had everything we needed to fully enjoy the flavors and textures of Steve's expertly crafted poke bowls. She patiently answered our questions and offered thoughtful recommendations based on our individual tastes and preferences.

Overall, our experience at Steve's poke bar was a resounding success, and we attribute much of that to the exceptional service provided by Zali. We would highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a delicious and authentic poke experience, particularly if you're lucky enough to be served by Zali herself. She is single handedly making Squamish a better place to eat, and...

I had high hopes about the place after reading the all 5-star reviews, but I still want to share my different point of view. Indeed, the place very is bright and modern, the staff are super friendly, and the food is definitely fresh. However, the taste could really use some improvement. I ordered 4 scoop bowl, a couple of toppings, w/ ponzu sauce. The combo turned out to be extremely salty and to some extent I could taste the bitterness. I don’t know if the lady put too much sauce when making it or this is how the food is suppose to taste - I’ve had many poke bowls before and this was the first time I couldn’t finish and threw half of the bowl away :-( I hope this is a one-time incident, but if not, please reduce the use of salt / soy sauce - it was overwhelming and too much sodium is also...
