Arby's — Restaurant in St. Albert

I tried Arby's for the 1st time ever and had the chicken buffalo sandwich. It was NASTY. Asked if it was mild, it wasn't & I like spice I just didn't want spicy at the moment. Told them I never tried so didn't know what to expect. There was NOTHING in the sandwich, the chicken disgustingly lathered in Buffalo sause with another sauce it was awful it was SOOO salty!!! The 2 sauses did not compliment eachother. I couldn't get through it chugged my drink down, fries are OK not something I would ever pass by for, I prefer Popeyes fries, even mcdonalds fries are better.

Also pretty pricey gotta say for what I spend elsewhere for a family of 6 with better tasting food with alot of meat (popeyes) this just isn't worth it. I can see why a bunch of locations in Ontario shut down. I solely came here while friends were visiting from Toronto because they requested as there's no longer any near them. Tonight we ordered takeout through the drive-thru, and I want to highlight the excellent service we received from Austin. I noticed him wiping the pop off the lids before handing us our drinks. It may seem like a small detail, but it really stood out. I’ve been through many drive-thrus and have never had an employee take that extra step to ensure the cups are clean and won’t drip in the car.

As someone who has worked in this type of field, I know how much those small efforts matter. Kudos to Austin for his attention to detail and fantastic service. It’s something customers truly appreciate — not having to worry about spills in our console holders makes a big difference. My husband just went into the restaurant to order our food for take out. He called me as soon as he left and asked me to right a review lol he went on and on about how amazing the customer service was and how he was so happy he actually went in. Customer Service is completely lacking these days and Jean made a huge difference with his experience. He said she was incredibly sweet and was calling him by his name. Made it a personal experience instead of just "dealing with a customer". She truly treated him like a guest in their establishment and this is now his new favorite place to get food from.
