I place a order for pick on my order I asked for Extra sauce. When I arrive to pick up my order it had on the order “No sauce” with “Extra sauce.” I don’t know how you can have a pizza with both? They chose to make the pizza with no sauce rather than calling the number on the same bill. So I received a pizza with no sauce, they commented that they have had issues with the mobile orders in the past. I didn’t have time for them to make a new pizza so took sauce on the side. There’s something about having a pizza with cold sauce on the side, it’s just not the same. I called the customer service to see what they could do about customer satisfaction, they simply asked if I got the email to confirm my order. To me that’s not customer satisfaction. First why would your order system allow for something impossible to do and if it did why wouldn’t you contact the customer to try and correct the problem.
In this day we work hard for our money and we have so many options when it comes to spending our money. Pizza 73 has lost my business I hope people choose to think twice about customer service when making there choice.
I have to go on to write more as the more I think about this the more I think this was an excellent way to test the customer service department and they failed bad.
This is a perfect complainant to ask Is the customer just making it up? No the bill shows. Is he just complaining to get money back well I still tipped the store because the gentleman was very nice. I showed that there is a glitch in the system and even if for some crazy reason I did it deliberately it still shows there is an issue that should be address. They offered me $4.00 back (pretty much the tip I gave in the first place) To me, someone who spent a large portion of my life working in the service industry says take this less than 25% back and try again to see if we can get it right.
I don’t know why you spend money on a customer service department if that’s the best they can come up with. Sometimes it’s not about the money it’s about the principal.

I find it very funny that they consider this as user error. If in fact it was me (which I don’t believe it was) I’m able to make an impossible request and they don’t make an intelligent choice to just call the number that was given and simply ask rather than deciding on their own.

When we phoned to make the order we specifically asked for a gluten free order. The employee working was not very polite and was almost annoyed that we asked why they were in the same box. It only takes a few minutes to go over how gluten free orders should be processed. We understand we are taking a risk ordering out every time we do. That's why we make sure to specifically ask about the gluten free. It's just so unnecessary to be rude. Trust me, we wouldn't be ordering gluten free if we didn't need to. The employee was wearing his mask under his chin while I was waiting. I realized the pizza was made incorrectly (with an ingredient I can't even eat) when I got home.
