Terrible service on Victoria Day holiday. I show up to pick up my preordered pizza's, as I drive up to the place, I see no one is parked out front, so I do the courteous thing like always and park a couple over leaving the front open for whoever may need it (ie handicapped or whatever). Anyway as I am pulling up next door, a new white Cadillac Escalade speeds in and jams the brakes to park right out front where I have left a space. Then the guy driving it (super douchy looking cheeseball) proceeds to nearly run out of the SUV to beat me into the store. I laughed a little and thought nothing of it, okay pal. Once I get inside I see this escalade driver has struck up a conversation with one of the fellow flipping dough close to the front of the store. He is taking about ordering online and problems and calling in etc etc but he clearly knew who this worker was, they were buddies. Then he made a comment to the other gentlemen working on pizza's asking to not be skimpy on the pineapple because "his kid loves it". The whole time I am hearing this there is a young guy at one of the tills directly in front of me and he says nothing to me. I make eye contact so I know he sees me (like I said I was 3 feet in front of him) and still he says nothing. This happened about 4 or 5 times before the kid just took off to the back. There was another blonde girl hiding behind the front as well and a delivery driver with his hands in his pockets on the far right waiting around too. So FIVE employees in the shop and not one would help me, greet me, ask me anything at all. So about 7-8 mins pass with me still standing there when another customer comes in behind me. We are both waiting now and finally the pineapple topping worker comes to the till and he says "you been helped?" LOL after like 10 minutes of standing there with FIVE employee's standing around not one would say anything. So I tell him "no, no one has yet". He asks if I am picking up and when I tell him he turns around and grabs the first stack on the rack (there were several orders waiting) and says "oh, here it is right here". So this whole time for 10 minutes my very expensive pizza's were there and ready and waiting and getting older, not one of these clowns would help. Super unprofessional service and the guy who was catering to the escalde douche-driver had the poorest customer service skills I had seen in a while. He just acted like he was talking to his buddy on a Saturday night with no regard to other customers around hearing it all. This is my second visit there and the first was great when a polite Asian lady helped me and displayed excellent customer service then. Not sure what happened but this experience was so bad, I won't be going back. Bye bye PJ's, there are a lot of better choices around for big money like Royal and...
Read moreI ordered two pizzas. I had to clarify my address several times as the staff dont have a grip on basic English language. I was polite and spoke clearly and slowly. They took my address with postal code (fool proof with a gps). After 1 and 1/2 hours my pizzas had still been out for delivery. When they finally showed up, no fault of the poor driver as they made a mistake on the address. My Pizzas were stone cold the "stuffed crust was like a hoola hoop. I drove to the location and asked if I could please speak to a manager. Nope, he said not until Tuesday...not very helpful. I asked the only guy in the store if I could please have a fresh hot pizza as mine arrived late and cold. He said Im not authorized to refund or replace your untouched cold pizza. So I have to hang onto these cold Pizzas until Gurinder is in on Tuesday. Cmon man make an educated decision refund, or just a fresh Pizza. Nope not happening. My future business...nope not happening. 1st experience with Papa Johns. This should have been a simple fix...replace it. $60.00 for two Pizzas is not super cheap. Customer relations are terrible. Worse when nobody there understands what you are saying. Grrrr. I`M BLOODY HUNGRY!!
I may revise this review depending on how much the manager cares on...
Read moreTerrible. 2 times in a row I have ordered from this location and twice it has taken hours to recieve our order. Each time we call and call with no answer to the phone to ask where the food is. I am tired of getting cold food and terrible service for delivery. Would be zero stars if I could
Edit: Manager on duty was quick to respond when my call finally went through. She was apologetic and offered to reheat the food. Because it would’ve been cold and a 2 hour wait I had requested that it be remade, to which she had it remade. The delivery driver wasn’t going into my apartments call directory for the call number to the apartment and proceeded to argue with me about how he needs to be quick, and that he doesn’t have time to be doing anything more than just input the exact buzzer code (which is found in the directory and the bill listed the apartment number) while he kept punching in the wrong number and was rude.
Managers help was appreciated, but I will not be back ever as this is now the second time in the row...
