I had the opportunity to visit Beechwood Doughnuts in St. Catharines, Ontario, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. As a vegan, I was thrilled to discover a place that offers a wide variety of vegan doughnuts, and Beechwood Doughnuts did not disappoint. First of all, let's talk about the flavors. The Lemon Meringue, Lemon Lavender, and Lemon BlackBerry Fritter all had a refreshing citrusy taste that was both tangy and sweet. The combination of flavors was well-balanced, and the doughnuts had a moist and soft texture. Moving on to the Chocolate Brownie, it was a chocolate lover's dream. The doughnut was rich, decadent, and had a deep chocolate flavor. The texture was wonderfully dense, and it was a true indulgence. Next up, the Cookies 'n Cream doughnut. If you're a fan of cookies and cream, you'll be in for a treat. The doughnut had a vanilla base with a generous amount of crushed chocolate cookies on top. The contrast between the creamy doughnut and the crunchy cookies was delightful. Lastly, the Turtle Cheesecake doughnut. This one was a real showstopper. The combination of creamy vegan cheesecake filling, caramel drizzle, and crunchy pecans was simply heavenly. It had a nice balance of flavors, and the textures worked together harmoniously. One thing that impressed me about Beechwood Doughnuts was the dedication and hard work of their employees. With 20 employees, 10 in each shift, it's evident that they put a lot of effort into crafting these doughnuts. Their hard work pays off in the end product, which is consistently delicious and visually appealing. Overall, I highly recommend Beechwood Doughnuts to anyone, whether they are vegan or not. The variety of flavors, the quality of the ingredients, and the passion of the employees make for an exceptional doughnut experience. Whether you're craving something citrusy, chocolatey, or just want to indulge in a classic flavor like Cookies 'n Cream, Beechwood Doughnuts has got you covered. Don't miss out on this gem in St. Catharines, Ontario. Note: It's always a good idea to check the business's website or call ahead to confirm their current offerings and operating hours before visiting.

This is an AMAZING donut shop!! The most delicious I've come across ever. We went by around 3pm and even though we didn't have many options to pick from the ones we picked were unbelievable. We got 2 birthday cake, 1 sprinkle and 1 carrot cake Dutch. The carrot cake Dutch was just an interesting and tasteful as it sounds. The dough was soft, fluffy, flavourful with a hint of cinnamon. The icing is smooth, sweet (not overly sweet) with a wonderful fresh carrot taste. The Sprinkle donut was fluffy and make you appreciate their dough more then anything. The birthday cake is an amazing donut. The dough was so soft and they don't cheap out on the filling. The only thing I felt it was missing was that dunk-a-roo birthday cake flavour. Like the flavour in the birthday cake oreos filling is the flavour I was looking for it the donut and felt was missing. however it was still a great treat

These are total perfection. We got almost one of everything so we could do a donut tasting for my birthday. It’s impossible to pick a favorite because they were all equally as good as one another. My husband, who is always suspect of vegan foods I try to give him, even loves them and said he never would have known the difference. He even said that about the caramel cheesecake filled one, and said there was no weird aftertaste, that it was just really yummy. My peanut allergy kiddo was very happy too. Since there were no peanut butter flavors on the menu we trusted it was safe. The only requestswould be more cake donut flavors (the chocolate was so moist and yummy, even the second day, and also Beechwood needs to be a chain. They’d be so popular in the US please! Come to Schenectady, NY, downtown please!

First time ever here, let me tell you, they have such amazing tasting donuts!! When I went in to order, I had such a hard time picking just one that I wanted (mostly because all of the donuts they had available looked amazing).

I ended up getting their Apple Fritter, and it tasted just as you would expect - It wasn’t dry or overly sweet, it wasn’t too sticky with the glaze on top, it was perfect! And it’s the perfect size if you wanted a small snack or a quick bite of something. All of their donuts in their selection are roughly the size of your hand and are a perfect size to have a snack!

The service was swift and efficient, the man who served me at the cashier was incredibly sweet, I did have a couple questions for him and he answered them right on the spot and seemed to know what he was talking about.

The inside of Beechwood Donuts is very clean, tidy, and put together - There’s seating available inside if you have the desire to sit and eat something. What I think is a really cool concept, is that when you go to the front to order, you can see the pastry and baking team in the back doing their work.

If you’re looking for parking, there’s street parking available, but you may need to take a second to find parking depending on how busy it is that day! But generally, you should be able to find a spot nearby.

Overall, highly recommend! They have amazing tasting donuts, a great selection, and great customer service. Would...

I’m from the GTA and have been coming up to the Niagara area to hike for the past couple of years and Beechwood has always been my special treat I pick up on the way back home. They are my favourite donuts and I always look forward to getting them on my way back home, however, my last visit today was very disappointing. I arrived to pick up my order and waited a bit at the pick up window (understandable, it was busy at the time). Someone eventually approached, no hi, just a “what do you want” type of attitude. I gave her my name and she couldn’t find my order so I gave her the order number, grabbed my order and headed home. Got home and excitedly opened the box with my fiancé to feast. Tried the first donut (the Creme brûlée) and it was terrible! It tasted stale, the sugar crust was tasteless and the custard was even more bland. Did not taste anything like crème brûlée. I put it aside thinking it was just a bad donut and went for the second donut (the lemon cheesecake). It was even worse. The lemon topping tasted like a mouth full of limoncello (alcohol). The creme cheese filling was bland as well. The third donut was marginally better (peach fritter) but stale and the 4th donut was just OK (vanilla bean cronut). I had to toss the first 2 donuts and ate half the fritter. My fiancé had the cronut. It was a very disappointing experience and not something I expected. I’m not sure if I will return next year once the hiking...
