Disgustingly dissatisfied with the service, order, and management. Clearly, this type of blantant disregard for others stems from the higher management and possibly the owner. We placed an order and was informed it would be ready within 15-20 minutes, 45ish minutes later, my order was finally ready. Immediately, there was an issue, there was no freshness, security, or tamper-proof seal. To add to that, the pizza box was cold. Upon opening, the disappointment worsened because I ordered a double pepperoni and there wasn't enough to be considered a single topping and the slices were separated. When I took a bite, it was evident that the pizza was not fresh and has been sitting out for a while. This was going to be a meal to serve my children. I had to throw it out and go somewhere else. I wasted not only my time but also my money.
Upon receiving this box, my wife requested to speak the management. The manager was obnoxious, loud, and disrespectful. She approached her aggressively and start to project her voice to gain attention from the dine-in patrons. During her monologue she deflected, dismissed, and denied everything. She made no effort to use basic critical thinking, reasoning, or logic to understand why someone would be dissatisfied with their order and service. If she used a little bit of active listening, she would understand the basis of this complaint and would actively try to resolve the issue. She obviously isn't getting enough attention at home and is using her authortive status to get the attention she desperately seeks. Pathetic. Who's going to intervene when everything is so uncertain? Not any of her staff.
One of the saddest parts to witness was the poor work ethic, was no one was working, there was four staff member standing idly at the front, servers now spectators (also just standing) and paying customer getting poor service because no one was on the floor working.
I've been to many Boston Pizza is different municipalities over the years and never heard of such treatment. I don't know if she is racist and doesn't appreciate being questioned by a black woman (the manger threatened to contact the local police and kick her out of the restaurant) but I highly doubt Jim Treliving condones people like her representing his franchise on this manner.
We later spoke to some family and friends and heard that this is typical behaviour for this location. Skyline would order pizza for children birthday parties and birthday guests would have to wait upward of one hour. Ridiculous.
And I am certain the local authorities, would not appreciate knowing Boston Pizza misuses their service for their discords which can easily be resolved with good customer service. Boston Pizza needs to take into account the police is there to protect and serve the community when there is a plight, a victim, and distress; not when management is incaple of regulating their emotions and does know how to keep their personal issues in check...

Like many say, horrible, very nasty. awful, very rude discriminating customer service in this one. Worst staff and Boston Pizza by far. Avoid at all costs. My child who is treated adhd etc and rigid in thought who they don't know nor know myself, but instead of doing the right thing and telling my child listen to your mother who isn't eating in the restaurant but going home instead, she deliberately chose to do the opposite. Not okay!. Silly young girl with absolutely no life experience who doesnt know my child nor I at all, nor the supports I have in place for him), deliberately chose to cause a bigger problem instead of helping prevent one. Shame on you! I'd literally only walked in and out briefly as I didnt intend to eat in there. Only to get my child out so I could take him home who was having a difficult moment. Then once home I find two of their staff slipped their phone numbers in my child's pockets. Shocking!
Seriously?!! That is NEVER okay and you ask consent of the parent before doing such a thing it's still a huge no no. Thats where they seriously crossed the line. It is never okay to do that. Naturally I put it where it belonged ripped up and in the garbage rightly so where it belonged.
These staff are HUGE nasty trouble makers that break rules on so many levels and are a discriminating bunch. I'm seriously now considering legal action against them/ or the rsstaurant. They crossed the line. There's some things you just do not do!
Seriously Boston Pizza owners! you need to FIRE the staff at this one as they're unfit, discriminating, and practice unconditional bias, evidently so, just look at the other many bad reviews I can well believe. Staff are shockingly very rude in this one. Just nasty trouble makers. Be more careful to get proper trained staff in future or risk losing customers instead but rightly so. I'd never recommend this place to anyone.
Not sure who on earth they think they are, but give their heads a huge shake.
Do yourselves a big favour the public. Avoid this place as it's a bad staffed one with absolutely no clue. There's far better restaurants to eat in where they have a clue. Avoid this place...
Read moreIncredibly rude staff and the owner, Rob Phillips, that doesn't know how to do his job and treat customer's with respect. I had an issue where I went in with a friend, and i medically cannot wear a mask and mostly everywhere I go respects this and accepts it. Well not Boston pizza. I walk in and say "hello how are you?" to the older lady at the door. Her response and first words to me were "where's your mask?" I reply with I cannot wear one due to medical reasons. She responds "nope, I cannot serve you without a mask". I respond with the bylaw saying that those who cannot wear a mask are medically exempt. She asks me for proof. I tell her she is not allowed to ask me why I cannot wear a mask or to show proof. She tells me and my friend, who was wearing a mask, to leave. We took our business down the road to Jack Astor's where we were treated with respect and acceptance and the best Chicken Parmigiana I've ever had!
I ended up contacting Boston Pizza corporate about my experience and the owner emailed me back and all he said was "masks are mandatory at this location to protect everyone..." I replied that he did not address the fact I had mentioned I was treated very rudely in front of everyone and was told to leave although I was being nothing but kind. His response was "I don't know what your looking for... (clearly not reading my previous email because I had said right in it how he didn't address the rude staff)... Masks are our policy and we're sticking to it." Again not addressing the rude staff member and how she made me feel. I literally had to send him an email with a response I'm looking for from him, apologizing that I was treated wrong and how going forward he would talk to his staff to treat everyone with kindness and respect. And then at the end I mentioned I shouldn't have to do your job for you. He keeps emailing me with harassing and rude emails (see pictures).
This whole experience showed me 1) masks are more important than customer service and 2) they have a very...
