Loved the homage to the original details of Diana Sweets. From the original floor to the new vintage styling and decor, this place has it all. We went in & ordered for takeout. pthe gentleman with the stretched lobes was incredibly inviting and helpful with our ordering process and decision making. The pizza was absolutely awesome. portion was extremely reasonable & freshly made that day. We had the choice between corner and middle slice. We got middle, which was probably half the size of my thigh. I got the Diablo. Sauce was perfectly sweet, cheese was perfect. nice & warm. dough was extremely tasty & the texture was impressive.. sported pickled jaleoenos, sweet & spicy hot honey to top. cup & char as well which blew our minds. One of the few places to get that style of pepperoni down here. My girlfriend got the Vodka & cheese slice. which was nice & sweet without having the heaviness pepperoni & red sauce pizza can sometimes have in the warmer months, which isn’t a bad thing. dough was consistent with the other slice, same with the ingredients, texture, etc… we also got a cookie which was the size of our heads. extremely tasty, sweet, would pair perfectly with milk or coffee with cream.
overall we rate this place a 5/5 and it blew our minds compared to some other options downtown. we spent $22 all-in and it was worth every penny. definitely coming once every week or two & telling our friends about it. love this place. love...

I recently visited Di's Pizza Pies in downtown St. Catharines after seeing it all over Instagram and reading some glowing reviews. Naturally, I was excited to give it a try! The place has a lot of charm, with its sleek, modern design and that tempting display of pizzas ready to be devoured. But, unfortunately, my experience was a bit of a mixed bag.
Let's start with the pizza itself. I opted for a slice of the pepperoni, and while it wasn't bad, it just didn't live up to the $7.50 price tag. The crust was a bit on the burnt side, which took away from what could have been a fantastic bite. The flavor was good, don’t get me wrong—but for that price, I expected something more. I can’t help but feel that the value isn’t quite there, especially when you’re paying over $30 for a whole pie. 🍕
Another downside was the lack of seating and basic amenities. There’s no place to sit down and enjoy your pizza, and no bathroom to wash your hands—things you’d expect, especially with those premium prices. If we were in Toronto, this might be more acceptable, but here in St. Catharines, it feels a bit much. 😕
All in all, Di's Pizza Pies offers a decent slice, but I’m not sure it justifies the cost. I really wanted to love this place, but with these prices and the overall experience, I’m on the fence about...
Read moreWell , my wife and I saw the dis pizza feed through tik tok so we thought we would drive out and give it a try and see what all of the fuss was about on tik tok. First impression , nice place but very warm in there. Smothered by the heat and flour being so close to the ovens. Service was nice. We ordered two slices , 2 drinks , and a cookie. $28 bucks. We asked for a couple co cokes server mentioned they don’t have regular coke. I can’t eat my pizza without a coke. So , I decided to give im their soda a shot or choke on pizza. I ordered a grape sofa figured how bad can it be. Very underwhelming with little to no taste. My wife ordered the vodka sauce slice - I ordered a pepperoni slice. Again very underwhelming. Other then the crunch on the bottom of the pizza , there is absolutely nothing special about this food. Either slice has a spec of fresh basil on it. In closing , another pizza joint that just doesn’t deliver. I really didn’t appreciate the fact they’re try to profit maximize through their beverage’s , instead of delivering a true Aida pop that goes with pizza. Sorry for being very blunt. I really just want to have some real authentic good pizza. Where each bites delivers a special feed back. Good luck...
