Freshly Squeezed — Restaurant in St. Catharines

I was with my mother and we were at freshly squeezed to purchase a gift card for $100.00 for a friend. After using credit card to pay for the gift card the machine unit said approved yet the cashier and another worker kept saying it did not go through in their system so we needed to try it again. Same thing happened, $100.00 charged again yet their computer System said it wasn’t processed. The cashier and worker got their boss on the phone who said they can only give out $50.00 gift cards . shouldn’t your employees know that? Let alone he said my mother’s credit card would not be charged ( now 200.00 due to trying it twice). Of course now my mother has gotten her credit card bill and the charges are on it. This place is a scam and has idiots working for them. I would never recommend this place. You run a business, train your employees and honour the customer. Horrible horrible experience. Love the strawberry, peach juice with ice. Medium is 10 dollars tho.... this was my first experience The other time I went back.... I was standing to the side with my friend waiting for my drinks and I guess I was near the entrance were they had to go to get Into the back , and this big fat guys comes up behind me and says MOVE! And I turn around and said, excuse me ?? Turns out it was one of the employees . I ordered a small freshly squeezed orange juice for $8.25 and clearly asked for it to be freshly made. Instead, the staff poured from a container taken out of the fridge. The juice tasted off and was not drinkable. I’m sure it has been sitting in the fridge for a few days now. I had to throw it away. There were fruit flies everywhere, and when a customer before me pointed it out, the staff simply said it’s because of the pineapples.
