They dont even deserve 1 star. This will be the last time I ever buy anything from KFC. Ordered for my family tonight. Got the online order confirmation to my email at exactly 4:30 pm. 5:30 rolls around and it hasnt been delivered. I call the store to inquire. Was told that my food was there waiting for the delivery driver to come back and bring it to me. Ok kids are super hungry but we will be patient. 25 mins or so later I call again. No answer. Call back 5 mins later. Still no answer. It's now almost 6pm and still nothing. Annoyed that my food has been sitting waiting for the driver for 30 mins and I'm not getting an answer from the store I call customer service. Customer service tells me they cant help, I have to talk to the manager. I explain they're not answering the phone and I've now been waiting 90 mins or more for my order. Still get "discuss it with the store manager" "we cant help you"... like what? You are customer service.. at this point I'm just angry. Ask to talk to someone who can help me.. she transfers me to the store. I ask the store where my order is and stress my concern that it's going to be cold after sitting for 40 mins... she then tells me.. "oh no we dont cook the food until the driver is here" PARDON ME! either you lied the first time we spoke or you're lying now. Of course she denies both.. tries to tell me I misunderstood her. I didnt but either way. So you didnt bother putting my order together an hour and 30 mins after I placed it?? Order didnt show up until 6:30. They must not understand how a business works. Your customers are what brings it all into fruition. Treat them like they dont matter and they dont come back. They also share their experiences with friends, family...
   Read moreOrdered from the 4th ave location here in st. Catharines. I am in Port Dalhousie. Prior to submittimg the order it said 30-40 minutes gor delivery. This was 4pm. After submission the email said 60 minutes. Then, over 65 minutes later I get a call saying they messed up. The order never came through on the printer, it came by email because I used their website to order so no one actually bothered to look. Then told me it is going to be another 40 plus minutes to wait. He offered me a free 2L of 99 cent pop to make up for my starving & cranky kids without so much as an apology. He basically made it seem like it was my fault for ordering on the website. Absolute joke. Now my kids are going to eat at bathtime and my 9 year old with Autism is going to have a terrible rest of her night because the routine is all out of whack. All because they didn't check all sources for orders like theyre supposed to. Nice KFC. First and LAST time ordering takeout from there!!
*UPDATE- Now, 1 hour 56 minutes later the food has arrived...remembering that is after they messed up, called and told me 40 additional minutes. Therefore it took them 53 more minutea, not 40 to bring it. So yea, basically 2 hours later we gor our food and guess what?!? THEY MESSED UP AND GAVE US THE WRONG CHICKEN!!! The food was NOT hot yet the driver claimed it was. It was mediocre at best temperature wise and we clicked the box for ALL DARK meat (none of us eat white) and we ended up with only 2 pieces of dark.    Read moreWhen we order delivery, this is the location that caters to us. The Food is consistent and good, however we have a problem with every driver. They use "Google Maps" to find our house, however, "Google Maps" sends them to the apartment building across the street from our house. I know what you're thinking..."that's not the drivers' fault!"...but here's where I hold them accountable; the number for the building is in lrg numbers on the front of the building, it clearly says a different number than the one they should be delivering to. Why don't any of your drivers bother to look at the numbers?? Once upon a time there was no such thing as "Google Maps" and people had no choice but to look at house numbers. We've had times where they didn't get an answer at the building so they've hoped back in their car and did other deliveries before calling us to see what's up. Then our food arrives cold with the driver treating us like it's our fault when, once again, all would be avoided if they just bothered to compare address numbers.
