My family came to Nolaa's earlier tonight and had an absolutely wonderful time! It was a holiday weekend, and there were nine of us (including two very busy toddlers), and there was even another large group dining at the same time as us, and yet the staff really went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible dining experience. The decor is also lovely and food incredible, but really, the staff are the best part of this restaurant. They anticipated our needs beyond what we could have ever imagined.
Without even asking, our server brought us colouring books and crayons for the two toddlers in our party, along with bowls of fresh fruit to tide them over until we ordered and got our mains. That made our dining experience so much smoother! Server Kyler was attentive and thoughtful, and the owners also made frequent check-ins to ensure we had everything we needed. This is the difference you get when patronising a small business!
These are wonderful people who love what they do, and it shows in the way they treat their guests. We'd come back even if we didn't like the food, but of course, the food was also incredible, and very good value! We came here because some folks in our party are keto, which is such a hard diet to accommodate, but the food was top-notch -- you don't have to have ANY dietary restrictions to enjoy the food at Nolaa's.
This restaurant caters, by the way! My sister loved the desserts so much, she's thinking of having Nolaa's do her wedding cake.
15/10 experience, can't wait to come back. Thank you to the Nolaa's family for making our family get-together...
Read moreSoo its been over a year since my last 5 star review, and if I could leave another five stars I would! Every time I come to this restaurant it's nothing but an warm experience. Whether I'm by myself or bringing a friend to experience it for their first time. Stsrting with the Ambiance in this place, the staff and the biggest shout out to Melissa Ms Mel her hospitality and her heart shows through her food and her business. And I could never forget the hospitality crew or I guess we could say the greeters. Mel has the cutest if I'm correct their newfoundlanders and they are so friendly. oh and don't let me forget all of her bakery the baked goods they're amazing they are all gluten-free and they have vegan options. They even make custom birthday cakes. Please if you live in St Catherine's or if you're ever in the area check out Nola's best breakfast best brunch best lunch I promise you won't be disappointed
Okay so this is one of the places I would love to gate keep and keep to myself but it's so good I have to share. First off as a vegan it's so hard to find a place you can go with friends and family and everyone one can enjoy. So everything on the menu can be made vegan.Today I had the breakfast sandwich with home fries and it was so good. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures this time but I promise I'll be back and next time I'll be snapping away. It super cute and cozy and there was even live music. I will probably start to frequent this place as my breakfast spot. The staff where super friendly and very welcoming. Thank you too them for making this place a gem. Can't wait...
Read moreEnjoyed brunch here this past weekend. Food was delicious. Couldn't decide between the breakfast bowl and the Eggs Benedict, the server recommended the bowl, and she was right. Potatoes, onion, peppers, bacon, tomato, eggs and hollandaise sauce. Yum. Definitely have the raspberry mimosa. Server was great, I asked about a London Fog which wasn't on the menu, and she quickly said she knew how to make it and it was no problem. It was perfect. Service was quite slow, but they seemed a little short on staff (long weekend, back to school time, everyone's short staffed), but we were enjoying a leisurely brunch and the server was very accommodating, so it definitely won't prevent us from going back. Just as an aside, I have to laugh at the other review from today, saying it's not a place for 'real men'. Imagine your masculinity being defined by your breakfast food, especially when the menu has platters of bacon, eggs and hash browns, as well as buffalo chicken and Montreal smoked meat. And also stating that 'nowhere' is it advertised it's a specialty place, when the name of the restaurant is 'Nolaas Gluten Free, Keto & Vegan Restaurant & Bakery'. Too much lol. Probably the funniest review I've read. As an insider tip, the restaurant serves 'manly' coffee, White Claws, wine, Caesars and Baileys. Enjoy! It's delicious, a definite recommend from me, for...
