Tim Hortons — Restaurant in St. Catharines

I am VERY observant of my surroundings. Being here within the first 20 minutes I found that it was a rough area. On the rougher side what I mean to tell is about a few people that had come in to use the washroom. The one guy comes in and he looks like he’s fidgeting and NOT approachable! He go straight to the bathroom and then comes out after 10 minutes or slightly a little bit longer perhaps. He returns out of the bathroom lines up and is much calmer state of mind.He never bought anything but he gave the cashier $20 and he got 4 five dollar bills and he went out to the parking lot and did some kind of a deal transaction there and he walked away with this backpack on his back. Very suspicious! I’m not just saying this but I have been around things like this before and I noticed the actions of certain things that tell me that Tim Hortons was used for the correct purposes as he never bought anything but he gave the cashier $20 and he got 4 bills and he went out to the parking lot and did some drug transaction of a deal there and he walked away with his backpack on his back. I’m not just saying this , but I have been around things like this before and I m very familiar of the actions of certain things that tell me that Tim Hortons was used as a spot and high place. That simply means when someone comes in to use the facilities to gain their drug abuse in a secret manner . Anyways did I mention when the guy came in he look like he was all spun out and he was moving quite quickly noticeably quick! I went through the drive through placed my order and after they repeat the order it was still wrong. They did not add my fruit explosion muffin. I said ok I need two. The girl turn and asked for two, then she said oh we are out of fruit explosion muffin. Something was off with the total so I park and went in to get my reciept.

People when I went into the store they had 3 of the muffin I just ordered not even a minute ago. I said to the guy serving me this is not ok and not nice because your staff lied they refused to serve me my order. They did not want to serve me and therefore said there was no more muffin. Then I asked the girl why? She turned and giggle at her staff and then, She said (I asked and they said there was no more). A brown girl said (they just came out with fresh ones). I debated with her because fresh means a batch. I ordered the muffin and it was not fresh, the muffin tasted like it was there for more than 2 hours the taste was horrible. I nicely asked why are you lieing? I was very respectful in my response but frustrated because all the staff members were giggling, laughing and thought it was funny that they refused to serve me a muffin that was sitting in the case, through the drive through and only because I went inside to clearified my bill then I noticed they had the muffin I just asked for not even 2 minutes ago.

The staff was not kind, did not care for my service, and I know if I call and complain they would not care either. Tim Hortons costomer service is just horriable lately. Very unkind staff and lazy ones. Horriable ice cap I call it water cap. They need to do better. I spend 5$ and change for some nasty muffin that the staff claimed was...

I want to update this review, while retaining the previews comments that will be kept below. In the early morning, around 5 am, for the past few days there have only been a small handful of employee's working. That being said, they are some of the most courteous and respectful people I have ever seen in this location. They are friendly, there service is professional and they are very welcoming. The review I left in June of last year does not apply to these individuals, but unfortunately does still apply for most of the other employee's of this location. It is for this reason that the original review must remain. (April 5th, 2023)

Since then, this location has greatly lacked in speed, customer service and availability. I sometimes come here for nothing more then a drink and a doughnut and sometimes, I wait upwards of 10-15 minutes. Not to mention that lately there has been a very rude and slow lady working in the drive-thru, and she is not the only one. It has felt like all of the staff at this location have bad attitudes and they are all disrespectful. Today I ordered a wrap and the person who made it gave it to me then acted like making the wrap was the end of the world. Overall, over the past year I have seen this place lower in quality and I don't see myself coming here for much longer, which is disappointing as this is the closest location to where I live and work.
