My family and I have been eaten their lunch boxes for eight years, all good. But the quality and taste are getting worse compare with what we had before the new ownership. What really bothered me is what happened today. We ordered 3 chicken teriyaki bento boxes as usual, and one seafood tofu soup. I am 100% percent sure I confirm twice the items in their name not their numbers. But when the food arrived they were beef teriyaki boxes instead. So the waitress went back check with the other waitress (new girl) who took our order, i can’t believe what I heard, she lied! She said I ordered by item numbers which I never did. My kids were sitting besides me all the time witness whole process. I believe honest is always the best policy while you are making mistake not trying to blame others by lying or hiding. Plus, the seafood sucks, the shrimp was black and I couldn’t even dare to eat it.(I may not know too much about the shirmp. But i didn’t want to touch it anyway) but I agree to take off the photo just in case misguide others’ judgement.
Won’t be there again, too bad I have to quit a restaurant whereI have been visiting for the...

Okay guys, seriously — got another banger for you right here. As soon as we sat down at Duru, they hit us with free barley tea, and let me tell you, it was brewed perfectly — super aromatic and so relaxing on the stomach.
Then boom — complimentary Tteokkochi (sweet and spicy rice skewers) on the house. Never had it before, but it was delicious — chewy, sweet, spicy, just fire.
I ordered the salmon bento which came with a refreshing miso soup, pickled daikon, and some flavorful kimchi. The salmon was super tender with a sweet teriyaki glaze, and the rice? Fluffy with sesame seeds on top that gave it a nice nutty touch. It also came with two hamburger gyoza — not bad, but I’m more of a soft pork gyoza type. The side salad was beautifully plated and super light, perfect palate cleanser.
My wife ordered the bibimbap — a massive rice bowl loaded with egg, daikon, carrots, bean sprouts, cucumber, and ground beef. Huge portion and packed with flavor. Like, OMG 😱 big.
Gotta give it up to this place. If you're craving real-deal Korean-Japanese fusion, Duru is the move. 5...
Read moreWe went here with a party of ten including a baby in a high chair for dinner. The food was amazing, super authentic, and very well portioned. Our server managed the whole restaurant, and yet we were so well taken care of. We had pajeon (seafood pancake), gamjatang (spicy pork stew), samyutuk, mandu (dumpings), tonkatsu pork, bipbimbop, spicy pork kimchi and galbi.
The only thing I would say if if you're in a group, make sure everyone sharing orders a dish or two, and then anyone getting their own entree gets their own appetizer, because you will want to eat more and more and more, and sharing the dishes is so much more fun than going solo. Take your time, and order well.
I wish we had done the BBQ table (call ahead), we were worried it would be too much food... guess what, who cares, it was all delish and we could have eaten more! Next time we need to try the hot pots and more of the noodle dishes, the japchae looked legit. Thank you to the owners for being open on New Years Day holiday and taking our big table, we had a lot of...
