I went here with my mother and sister on Mothers day. We decided to enjoy a walk uptown, and checked this place out. None of us had ever been here before, and after we ordered drinks we soon realized it was a sushi restraunt!! All of us are NOT sushi fans, but the menu here was amazing. Full of different things, and meals to try! I got Pad Thai, and picked chicken terriaky sushi rolls to try with my family. It was delicious!! The dishes aren't large, portion size, but my family and I ordered a bunch of different stuff, where we all shared and tried new items together. The staff is kind, professional and quick too! We got seated and our drinks (Strawberry vodka slush) were brought out within 5 mins! The menu is cool, it's all on an Ipad, which allows you to browse and have a good look, and check out what ingredients are in the dishes here. After everyone ate, we decided to get Strawberry and Cream Cheese sushi rolls for a dessert - since they mostly had ice cream- and it was so yummy! I HIGHLY recommend this place! The prices are a bit expensive, and they are NOT listed on the ipad. For my mom, myself, and my sister, and all our different orders; 3 soups, 2 chicken / black pepper dishes, beef black pepper, 3 orders of sushi rolls, pad thai, 3 vodka drinks, and 2 orders of fried yams, the bill came to $90 (with tip 100$) which isn't terrible, as the place is super classy, and the dishes are so fresh, the quality of food is great, and the staff are wonderful! Overall, I DO recommend Seasons! Give it a try, even if you're not a sushi lover!! You'll definitely find something there for yourself :)

The atmosphere and service is wonderful, but I’m pretty disappointed with my second visit to this place. My first time was alright, the food is pretty mediocre, same with my second visit. This is the second time I order the crispy spicy salmon nigiri chips, I always order it as a tradition with my mom to enjoy even before coming to this place. When I was given the chips for my second visit, I was given a tiny bit of salmon, no panko, not even enough salmon to cover a good amount of the chips… I laughed because I thought it was a joke. I told one of the ladies about it and we both were shocked because even the server herself KNEW the chips are not supposed to be like that. She was very sweet and apologized, and said she’ll talk to the chef to make a new one. It took a while for them to make a new one and I completely understand it can get busy, but we had to tell the lady we haven’t received the chips. She brought out the newly made chips… once again… THE SAME SMALL AMOUNT WITH NOTHING!! I’m disappointed.. yeah, it may be chips, but whatever image that’s on your menu should be what I expect in front of me and according to the images, it DOES NOT live up to what I expected. I don’t care that the chef is new, I would expect a new chef to want to do better and bring back something I requested to be exactly how it’s made. 😐

8 Months Ago: Always satisfied! Delicious food and a large all you can eat menu. Service is fantastic, food is fresh and the restaurant environment is clean. Best Sushi in St. Catharines...guaranteed! Today: New owners at Seasons, service is still excellent, but food was very disappointing. Either very little seasoning or none at all. Portions were ridiculously small, and very chintzy on certain items such as I ordered Bacon/Pineapple Rice, I got 1 slice of pineapple and no bacon just ham, which I do not like whatsoever! I also ordered Vegetarian Rolls and it arrived on a platter along with strips of beef layed on a bouquet of celery as decoration. I'm not a vegetarian, but this didn't look right, can you imagine what a Vegetarian would be thinking? The sauce they use for their meats taste like bitter VH, so disappointing! We used to come here monthly, this is my second visit since the new owners took over and I don't think I will ever be returning. This was once my favorite place to eat in all of Niagara...RIP Seasons

I've now tried Wind as well as East and I keep coming back here because the price to quality ratio is quite simply the best I've had.

For those of you who havent been to an all you can eat sushi establishment, you basically order very small quantities of food rather than a full-fledged meal, like a single mussel or a single skewer of beef. As such, the experience is much more like an array of samples you can order again if you like them, and you really can try almost everything on the menu if you've got a big enough stomach.

That said, as far as all you can eat in St. Catharines goes, many of the things at Seasons aren't as high quality as what's served at the other places. The crab is sumiri, a type of imitation crab, and beef skewers are often overcooked. The shrimp is nothing special. But there's also a flip side to the coin - they have amazing raw beef and mussels. The mussels are the best I've had in my life and while many other places like it serve the raw beef still stiff and frozen, Seasons serves it a little chilled, but never frozen, with a great sauce.

The wait staff isn't perfect. Oftentimes I'll feel like they aren't as fluent as they could be or that they're a little stiff or dismissive, but the wait staff is almost never a huge factor in the experience at these sorts of places. They're more of a food delivery system.

The interior is dark with a lot of booths to sit at, and can be packed or nearly empty depending on when you go. And each booth has a glass pane coming from it that extends to the ceiling with some illuminated leaves in it, though with a name like Seasons I often find myself wishing for snowflakes and flowers and little suns too. They sometimes have a bit of a cleanliness problem, as the floors will be sticky or there will be stray napkins in the lobby, but those things aren't problematic enough to detract from my five star rating.

All in all, I'm a really big fan and have gone maybe ten times or so at this point. I cheat on it a little sometimes, because Wind has great rare teriyaki beef, but it's probably always going to be the place I'm a...

this place is a waste of time. I'm never one to bash restaurants because I appreciate the service and the industry and all that goes into it, but this place is dirty, covered in flies and little fruit flies, the servers barely speak English, no one comes around to fill up the waters and we waited 20 minutes for someone to do so. 5 of the items we ordered didn't come, and their excuse when we asked was that "when it's busy sometimes food goes to different tables", yet when we looked around only 7 tables out of over 20 were filled. the sushi is small and sloppy, and often not very good, the fish is an unpalatable warm temperature when its not supposed to be. the staff does not pay attention or care about their service. not to mention everything takes an insanely long time to get to you. also, when it was time for dessert, my father asked for a spoon for his ice cream which was not provided upon the foods arrival at the table. when the server came, he asked if my dad could use the spoon that I had previously used for my dessert. is that for a real? I can't believe it either. my dad politely said "yes that is a spoon but if I'm paying over $100 to feed my family dinner then I would like a clean one", and finally they brought one. it isn't difficult to wipe down a table or greet a customer even if it's fake. I've been here many times and tried to give the place a chance but it's been more and more disappointing each time. there was also no paper towels or toilet paper in the female or male bathroom. I will not be coming here again, and the increasingly popular opinion I hear that this place is "a waste of time" has fulfilled itself for me too. save your time and go to East or Wind, high quality and better service, and much better tasting sushi at that. sorry to write such a horrible review but this...

We have ordered food from here many times over the years and have always enjoyed it for the most part. It had never been spectacular quality, but you always got decent quantity for value.

This time things were off, I found that the avocado cucumber rolls I ordered had slimy, transparent cucumbers, which is a clear sign they are past their best before time. But knowing it's not always top quality here, I shrugged my shoulders , removed them from the rolls and carried on. It Sucks, but we will survive.

But then I started to eat my vegetable noodles and oh my goodness!!!! The entire dish had mold all throughout the noodles. Just blackish/grey discolouration ALL THROUGHOUT the dish!!! I could not believe it. I almost threw up.

I called them immediately to inform them and they told me that it is not mold it is mushrooms. And if I want a refund I will have to contact Uber.

I then asked for the managers email and I forwarded the pictures and asked for some clarification on why this food left the premises at all as it is CLEARLY VERY SPOILED FOOD. And all they said was sorry for the inconveniences suggest I should contact Uber.

They have taken absolutely ZERO accountability for serving this food.

I then decided to look at their inspection report and found that not only do they fail routine inspections, but they also fail re- inspections AND RE-RE-INSPECTIONS!!???!

Clearly they have very poor knowledge on food handling procedures and I hope people stop and think before ordering from this place again.

I for one will never order from her again.

A dish of moldy noodles is too far over 'the quantity over quality...
