Starbucks — Restaurant in St. Catharines

I recently visited Starbucks, and I’m giving it a glowing 5 out of 5 stars—it’s everything I could want in a coffee spot! Walking in, the cozy vibe hit me right away, with the smell of freshly brewed coffee and warm pastries filling the air. I ordered a Pumpkin Spice Latte since it’s that time of year, and it was pure magic—perfectly spiced, creamy, and topped with just the right amount of whipped cream. I also grabbed a butter croissant, and it was flaky, buttery, and absolutely delicious, pairing so well with my drink. The staff were amazing—super friendly, quick, and they even remembered my name from a previous visit, which made me feel so welcomed. The place was spotless, with comfy seating that made it easy to relax for a bit. I’ve heard some say Starbucks can be pricey, but I think the quality and experience are totally worth it—my latte was around $5, and it felt like a little luxury. The line moved fast even though it was busy, and the free Wi-Fi was a nice touch for getting some work done. Parking was a breeze, which is always a win. Honestly, I always get my drinks on my way back from work at different Starbucks in the area so it's extra disappointing that every time I come to this one, the drinks are underwhelming and the staff are rude. The cold brews don't taste fresh and are frequently made improperly and even the tea based drinks don't usually taste like what I'd get at any other Starbucks in the area.

The only positive side is that they're open longer than the one at Pen Centre, but I would honestly go out of my way to a go to a different one each time.

When I go to Starbucks I expect positive customer service, but rarely are any of the baristas interested in that. They're often rude and dismissive and I'm not one to usually complain. I've worked customer service for years. I know people can be difficult. I am fine with a basic hi, how are you, but I can barely get even that at this location.

I don't recommend this location. The staff at Pen centre are 10x more pleasant and willing to do substitutions and I usually do mobile...

Im so upset, I went into starbucks with a craving for a ice matcha latte with oat milk and strawberry cold foam for the past 48 hours. The lady was very kind when I ordered, however when my drink came out I immediately noticed the lack of strawberry cold foam on top. There was atleast like 3 drops on the top, it was as if they ran out and gave me the last drizzle and didnt bother to make more. I decided to shrug it off and not mention anything as I was kind of in a rush. While drinking my drink in the car I noticed they made my drink with regular milk instead of out milk. On top of that I asked for light ice and they put like 4 ice cubes in a venti cup?!😭 It just felt like I was drinking slushy milk matcha, not enjoyable at all. I get that they were busy and were probably rushing to make it, but if im spending $10 on a drink id rather wait the extra few minutes than have my drink not turn out how i wanted it to at all.
