My experience at Boston Pizza on April 17th at 12:15 am was nothing short of disappointing. My girlfriend and I had booked a table in advance, but our evening quickly turned sour when we encountered rude and unprofessional behavior from both the waiter and the manager. And we had to leave.
As soon as we were ready to order, I approached the waiter to request assistance. Instead of providing helpful service, the waiter snapped at us, saying, "If you don't know what you want to get, why did you bother asking for a waiter?" The tone was condescending and the waiter's facial expressions were dismissive, leaving us feeling unwelcome and disrespected.
When my girlfriend attempted to address the issue with the manager, we were met with even more hostility. The manager's response was shockingly unacceptable, saying, "If you don't like it, you can leave." This blatant lack of professionalism and disregard for customer service was appalling.
The treatment we received from both the waiter and the manager at Boston Pizza was completely unacceptable. Their rude attitudes, disrespectful behavior, and dismissive responses were appalling and ruined our dining experience. As a result, we will not be returning to Boston Pizza, and we urge others to reconsider dining at this establishment.
It is clear that the employees and manager we encountered are unfit to work in the hospitality industry. Their lack of professionalism, rude behavior, and dismissive attitude towards customers is unacceptable. We hope that the management takes appropriate action and holds these employees accountable for their behavior, including the manager who condoned it. No customer should be treated with such disrespect and disregard. We strongly urge Boston Pizza to take action to ensure that their employees provide a welcoming and respectful environment for...
Read moreI went to this location on a whim with my family. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs on their Pasta night special. The server brought me a plate with fewer meatballs than described in the menu, and no cheese on top. So I asked her and she said she thought I ordered the regular spaghetti and meatballs not the "Smokey mountain" one. So then I asked, "can you show me this different spaghetti plate in the menu?" She told me it was a "secret menu item" and therefore not on the menu. So she effectively gave me less food for the same price, because it was the Pasta night special (all pasta dishes are the same price). But it turns out that was a blessing in disguise because the meatballs were disgusting! They are 100% made in a factory alongside the Walmart freezer brand. So over-processed.
A month or so later, my son's team was celebrating a game at this location. I knew not to order pasta this time, so I got the bacon chicken sandwich. To this day, I can't stop thinking about it. The chicken sandwich is absolutely a joke. It's $20 and no word of a lie it's smaller than a McChicken. If you go to Wendy's and get the bacon chicken sandwich, it's under $8 and significantly better. Wendy's uses real chicken, where The Boston Pizza chicken patty is again way over processed meat, not real chicken. It's a slightly enlarged discount brand chicken nugget. I asked for a 2 spice level (out of 3) and there was absolutely no spice at all. Boston Pizza should be ashamed of their food quality.
I very rarely eat out, but I have to say that I would never recommend this place. If anyone mentioned they were going here, I would...

Taste: 4.5⭐ Absolutely amazing flavour. I love the variety of meats, grilled chicken breast that's still tender, nice little shrimp for some seafood, spicy italian sausage that's a good heat for all ages, good size tomatoes, green peppers that still have a little crunch to them, a mix of cajun seasoning & marinara sauce that ties it all together, & topped with some green onions to keep it fresh. I really enjoy biting into the random green peppers found without the dish.
Quantity: 5⭐ All I can say is that it's a meal for two. I always really enjoyed the Jalapeño Shrimp Taco's but every time my cousin would get the Jambalaya Fettuccini, I was shocked on how much food was there. I also can't forgot the large piece of toast you get on the side. Most of the time I take half home but sometimes I eat it all because it's so good.
Quality: 4.5⭐ Everything you order at Boston Pizza is so aesthetically pleasing (But Definitely Not 7⭐ Presentation Quality)
Location/Service: 5⭐ I hope this location stays there forever, Very good location for everyone in the south of St. Catharines (Just Go To Any Boston Pizza, There All Great). The Service is actually incredible. No matter how many people are there, the food always comes so quick. Me & My cousin are regular's there and we are always noticed. Every employee there is very kind, respectful, & always have a great sense of humour.
Price: 5⭐ A bang for you're buck. Talk about Quantity & Quality with a good price. Jambalaya Fettuccini w/ Toast: $23.69 /...
