I went to Tim Hortons with my friend between 8:30 and 9 pm last night after an extremely bad day. There was nobody in line and very few people in store. It took us less than a minute to decide what we wanted. There was a young man behind the counter giving us a thousand yard stare, no smile, no greeting. We decided to split a single toasted coconut donut. It has been a while since we were in a Timmy’s post pandemic, and my friend tried to slide the coins across the counter, not realizing there wasn’t any hole in the plexiglas. Nine out of ten stores you have an area where you can slide things through on a hole on the counter. So my friend didn’t realize this immediately and had to lift his coins and pass them through a hole higher up. The worker acted like this was a big deal. My friend apologized to the young man, who proceeded to be extremely rude to my friend. The young man said in a really rude tone as the change was being handed to him, “not working so well for you, is it.” He was both apathetic and glaring. He didn’t say can I take your order, or have a good day, or smile, try to help, or anything. He was just extremely rude, with a sour look on his face. I work in retail and it’s been a while since I was treated with such rudeness. The donut was fresh, but my friend and I didn’t feel like staying and I doubt we will be back. Management should be aware that they have a young man working for them who doesn’t care at all, or didn’t for that...
Read moreI'm not impressed with the customer service my friends and I received today. We all order separately with the same drink my one friend and I got extra espresso in our salted caramel icecap. When I ordered mine she was quick with short answers and got upset when I didn't hear her asking a question. When I got my stuff she slims down my straw and when I said thank you she just walked around. I'm used to this as I work in customer service myself, her not just doing it to me but my other friends as well and eye-rolling when we all had the same drinks is over the line. If you have a problem with something be professional and go complain in the back room. And on top of that when our last order was done it was just plain salted Caramel icecap with no espresso and after paying this lady with attitude asked if this one had espresso in it as well and we said no and she said thank God. On top of all of that she didn't make the Icecap with espresso right, she just throws it on without mixing for both.
I know that we are in crazy times with covid, having an attitude to the only three customers and one just waiting is unacceptable and I will not be tolerating customer service like this ever again.
I will not be returning to this...
Read moreThe 2 ladies working evening shift do a fairly good job of making some customers very uncomfortable. The morning staff ladies abd the 2 gentlemen in evening are great. However these 2 ladies, I have never went in and they properly greeted us. Not once. Out of over a dozen times we have seen them, they look miserable, don’t greet, look at you directly in the eye as to challenge you. I even tried to make a job to lighten the one lady in the glasses mood, she looked even more confused and miserable. As a minority watching them interact with others while I get treated with disrespect is not something I’m prepared to tolerate anymore. Not sure if they just don’t like minorities or what. They even had a good laugh making fun of us while we pretended we didn’t hear. So they can’t communicate with some customers but are more than ok making fun of them and pretending that we can’t hear them. For such miserable attitudes they sure did know how to smile , to each other. Horrible service. Clean this place up with those 2. It’s in acceptable. Have one standard where your employees treat everyone the same or don’t mind me mentioning...
