KFC — Restaurant in Steinbach

I am editing/updating my review due to the horrible experience we and many other customers had this evening. We ordered a chicken sandwich with no sauce, it came with sauce. We were told 7 minutes for the new one, 15 minutes went by THEN were told that there was no lettuce or pickles left so the burger was now plain. Absolutely no effort was made to compensate for the mess up, we should have at least been given our money back for the sandwich meal, but no, nothing.

There was old cutlery and napkins on the floor and food remnants still on the tables.

The women's washroom said it was closed but we watched as numerous employees entered and used that washroom.

Every customer that was served tonight waited a minimum of 30 minutes for their meals. Even the people coming from the drive-thru were filing in and having their orders corrected.

This store needs to be closed and/or managed by someone else who doesn't only hire family members. It's not following the KFC chain's standard/code...

I love KFC... From anywhere else but steinbach. If I eat here, I try to order first thing when they open, because it is the ONLY time the food is good and fresh. I've had old food, overly greasy, soggy food here, but today took the cake. I got 4 chicken sandwiches. 2 of them, the zinger chicken was so overfried and dry it was barely edible, and so hard it was impossible to chew. The other 2, double tender sandwiches, were smothered in gravy that I never ordered, and had no place being on a chicken sandwich with lettuce. I've placed multiple complaints and nothing ever changes there. Although drowning my sandwich in gravy was likely a simple error, I always assume they don't practice adequate food handling, because every other KFC I've eaten at is excellent, and there is just no good reason for soggy, old food. Will be a while before I give this place a chance again. Doesn't even make sense how they've been consistently bad...

Just wanted to pass along my frustration. For Xmas eve this year decided to try KFC as it's been a long while. STEINBACH location. Ordered to 10 peice festive meal plus the stuffing. Waited an extra 30 min to get it extra crispy. Got home 20 min away and there were only 9 peices. But on top of that 7 of the 9 peices were drumsticks?? Phoned and brought back in...wouldn't offer any compensation...had to get higher approval to even give me a refund...no gift card option, no discount and "here is a new meal for free or discounted". Finally got my money back and wished them a merry Xmas...When going to a restaurant typically if a meal comes out wrong or is unsatisfactory it is free or at least discounted. Never mind driving back to return a order that was wrong and losing an hour of my life and hungry people waiting. Geez. Do better with...
