A1 Pizza Stellarton / New Glasgow — Restaurant in Stellarton

I’ve visited this place multiple times before, but after my most recent experience, I’m extremely disappointed. My friend and I specifically ordered chicken shawarma, as we don’t eat beef or bacon. However, when our order arrived, one of the shawarmas had bacon strips in it. When we addressed the issue, the person assisting us, Prabjot, showed no empathy or understanding and eventually we had to cancel the shawarma which had bacon and asked for refund. The service was poor, and the refund we received was less than the actual price of the shawarma, found upsetting. It’s disappointing that they couldn’t even refund us the full amount. This experience has left me questioning whether I’ll return again. And now I get a response on two things the refund- which we requested for one shawarma which costs 12$ the other was a platter for which we paid and also tipped the person who took our order because she was good to us.

And 2. You portraying that my friend cursed on phone after going home which was a complaint, as he didn’t want to create a scene there in the working hours, which is no where cursing, but replying. if you have a recording, please recheck.

And yes on top of this not being apologetic for what you did, commenting this, shows how your colleague would have apologized us in the first place and you are threatening to call the cops for not creating a scene and writing this review....

I got one medium pizza few days ago. The owner was there and he did make delicious pizza. I was so impressed by the service as we went there in the morning. We ate and then had some meaningful conversation with the owner. But today I ordered the same pizza with everything same. I thought this pizza will be amazing as last time but no totally opposite it tasted so bad that I couldn’t eat it. I ordered this pizza around 8pm as I came back from work after working 12 hr shift and I wanted to have something good but this pizza was nothing like this. Did not look good, did not taste good. Total waste of money. So disappointed. When I went to pick up the pizza there was a lady and two man making pizza. I don’t know it is possible to make same pizza in two ways. One is delicious( made by owner in the morning) and other one is so disgusting that you don’t even want to look at it( made in the evening by one of the worker). I’ll definitely go back but only in the morning so that I can enjoy good pizza.

Tasty food and warmth in customer service. These are the two things we expect when we walk into any restaurant. You’ll be lucky if you can get even one these.

We visited from California and the A1 Pizza surprised our family of 7 with best taste and great experience. Did I say best taste ever? :)

I could feel the warmth in the employees even before walking in. The owner was saying goodbye to his family in the parking lot and he held the door for us with a broad smile :)

When the food came, we were surprised again with the yummy toppings and overall taste! It got even better when my son asked for a cup of water and he was served a complimentary chilled water bottle with a smile!

Jackson, Darren and Vishal you rock, you are the best! You set the bar for how the customer experience needs to be! Keep it up… I hope to visit you again...
