YSK Bistro — Restaurant in Stratford

Here's a great idea; cut a bunch of onions at the front counter and make all your customers have stinging eyes, runny nose and difficulty breathing. Don't apologise for doing it and give death glares when told to cut it in the back instead. Our poor 1 year old could barely see, as his eyes were so watered up. Don't forget to joke about cutting the onions too.

Took our 2 sandwiches to go, due to being unable to handle the stench. Total cost was around $18.50 for two basic sandwiches.

Is it worth $9/sandwich? Nope, this looks like something I can make at home with left over groceries. I think management tells the staff to skimp on meat and ingredients. There was a review saying they're closing. I don't think...

Well, i usually come here for the great tasting sandwiches, but yesterday the service was absolutely terrible. They said that they would bring them out in like 10 minutes, and we waited an hour outside and still nothing. Finally, we went in to ask them what's going on, and they gave us the sandwiches in another 10 minutes. They did not apologize for the wait. We then walked to the park to eat, and to our surprise, the pickle we ordered on the side leaked all over everyone's sandwiches. Even worse, they got all of our orders wrong (mine had no turkey, my friend's had no rhubard.) What an absolute disgrace of...

Staff could use some improvement in customer service. We sat and ordered a meal and the staff began grating onions right at the ordering counter - and this place is tiny! It was very warm inside and onions overpowered us. We began tearing up, noses running. We asked the staff to please do that elsewhere. We got an eyeroll "sure" and dirty looks. We got our food packed up to leave as we were choking on onions. Another table complained as well. And $18 for 2 wonderbread sandwiches and a pickle seems a bit much based on portion size and...
