The Little Prince Micro-Cinema & Lounge — Local services in Stratford

I loved the unique look of this theater, and it truly lives up to its claim of being the world’s smallest. Unfortunately, my experience was spoiled by a couple sitting next to me constantly checking their phones. Even after I politely asked them to stop, nothing changed. In such an intimate space, distractions like this are hard to ignore. A phone policy would really improve the experience.

Addendum: I just wanted to add that I'm sure the owner does a million little things that I'm not fully aware of, such as securing the rights to play the movies, ensuring the food is good, checking on operations, rent, finances, etc. However, I'm only the consumer at the end of the day, and I have to care about my own personal satisfaction because no one else will.

Plus, it's a very tight theater.

For anyone who's been annoyed by someone constantly checking their phone in their company or at the theater, just imagine it in your mind's eye for a second. You're at the theater and you've told someone to stop checking their phone, but they don't, because everyone is addicted nowadays. This time, the difference is that there's no escape from these twats. It's a very small theater with only twelve seats, and the tiny nature of the space only serves to highlight any light sources, no matter how insignificant the distraction might seem.

For all anyone knows, there may have been several people who thought the same way but didn't say anything because they wanted to support a small business and didn't feel they had the right to complain about something so seemingly minor.

Stratford is a tourist destination, and most likely, anyone visiting the theater is doing so because they're a tourist. The last thing someone dissatisfied with an experience is going to do is return to a place where they had a negative experience.

I don't even really care about the review, except as a warning for those who are bothered by the same things I am. Let every point of criticism be an opportunity for future...

We had an AMAZING birthday party here this weekend! Unfortunately we were scheduled for a few weeks ago but about 1/4 of our guests got sick a few days before the event and the staff were so wonderful and accommodating to get our date moved to when everyone was feeling better. Communication throughout the booking process was fantastic and when we arrived everything was ready to go for us. They aren’t kidding when they say the rental comes with unlimited popcorn and pop and kept everything full for us with a smile - they even have a screen in the lobby so you don’t miss the movie while you’re getting snacks. We were able to open a tab so folks could add extra candy and adult beverages if they wanted it without having to worry about the payment. There’s so much thought put into every detail from the tin ceilings and previews/“Let’s All Go To The Lobby” cartoon to the bathrooms which are chocked full of fun film and media memorabilia. The seats were more comfortable than our usual big chain theatre. All of our guests were thrilled with the gift bags because you just don’t get those as adults and that’s sad. I had my daughters birthday here recently. I spent countless hours searching Stratford and surrounding area for something to do for a party instead of bowling( we love bowling, we just have done it 3 years in a row). Just as I was about to close my browser I see The Little Prince . I decided this was an amazing ides for a birthday party and my daughter was too the moon excited. The day of the party was a huge success. Carla and Leigh are amazing people and really great with kid's too. The price was amazing, the treats were so good. It was hands down the best party we have ever had, and there was little to no stress for me. I highly recommend to everyone and anyone for any occasion. I also highly suggest popping in and getting some caramel popcorn, it is absolutely to die for, and the cotton candy is just as good. The entire feeling of the entire theater is just so good, the kids didn't want to leave. It is decorated perfectly.
