Thank you for you kind reply to what I hope to be a "1-off" review, which has been posted, for your kind considerations that boosting staff moral, may help customers always* feel welcome to spend $1-$100+ dollars vs feel ashamed they cannot contribute more money to yet another cause, when perhaps their own stomach and cupboards are empty, and a donut or coffee makes things a bit better. TH staff is nearly always bright and cheery, and I love the experience, yet the experience 5 days ago was off-base what I know to be the standard. Nothing to make right for me, I will continue to enjoy TH every chance I get, I see silver linings beyond the flaws of being human. Thank you. 5 days ago; I work in healthcare and Summerland travelling from Kelowna often, the day with my family started out a bit disorganized, and I only had three minutes to get to work and said no hank you (yo the two times I was asked) to purchase a smiley cookie, the female staff member who pain-stakingly shoved my change into my hand after handed me my coffee at 7:27AM this AM lacked professionalism, empathy and consideration, all because I said thee words twice, “no thank you”. Dear person; please consider how taking something personal while employed, can cause damage to local business’ reputation, and if kept up, might cost hardship, all because you chose not to be kind. I encourage you to review your actions, Summerland Tim Hortons will be a much better...
Read moreThis location is particularly tricky. They have two or three shifts, employees change from time to time. So sometimes, they value speed over quality. Other times they value quality over speed.
I ordered a Sausage Farmer's Wrap, which I always do. I don't really like the Sausage Farmer's Biscuit and never order it. Especially because it's difficult to eat on the road. Multiple times at earlier breakfast hours one of the staff screws up the order every time, and then proceeds to blame me for the error. I hear her yelling out "He ordered a biscuit, not a wrap!!!". Other staff says to me "She makes that mistake all the time". Regardless, just get it right, listen, don't rush. People are willing to wait a little longer for quality. Speed isn't the most important thing.
Speaking on speed. Often the potato wedges are WAY undercooked. The wraps are WAY undercooked. I've had to return multiple times over undercooked chicken. I'll wait 10 minutes longer for better food, done right.
Same thing, my girlfriend has had to return multiple times over undercooked grilled cheese sandwiches. Unmelted cheese isn't acceptable in a grilled cheese sandwich.
So stop valuing speed over quality, and you'll make...
Read moreHad what I wanted. Staff was kinda complicated at the window. Two people in the take out window made it confusing. It wasn't busy at all and the one guy takes my money the other one shoves food out at me so I am rushing to grab food and drinks and then the guy with food says one min for sandwich and I wait not very long but drive away. The money guy didn't hand me back my change the whole time I was in the window but I was still being rushed to grab all the food items so they can make good drive through times. I was pulling away when the food guy yells and I stop and get out of my car and walk back to get my change. Not even an apology and they looked like I was trying to hold them up. I feel like the service at Tim Hortons is increasingly getting worse and it's dissapointing. You were once my go to place but the staff at more than just this location are very insensitive to customers and have a tendency to treat anyone that's had anything negative happen rudely instead of having manners. I try to be polite but when I have employees glare at me for slowing down their times or because they didn't have tp that's rude and not OK. I'm no longer using timmies. Just too many bad...
